Loved the interest in the Masters thread, so thought we could start a tour thread for everything tour related.

The Heritage is this week with 5-time winner Davis Love III and his son Dru Love competing.

The Heritage is followed up by the Zurich and the first time we’ll see walk-out music for the opening tee. I might actually try to snag some final round tickets to it, since it’s a little over an hour away.

OWGR Top 25 through week 14.

Tiger made a jump to 88 to break top 100 after the Masters.

I just want the weather to break so i can get out there. It has snowed 3 times so far this April. Al Gore can kiss my ass.

As for the PGA - If I'm not doing anything on Sundays during the final round I'll jump on this thread and give my typical top notch commentary.

I've been hitting the range 4 days a week. Haven't played any rounds yet.

Tiger Woods officially committed to the 2018 U.S. Open today. He’s won the major three times.

This is also the last year of Tiger’s 10-year exemption from his 2008 Torrey Pines open win, where he played with a double-stress fracture to secure his third career grand slam.

Are they really doing walk out music? That is awesome. Bubba Watson has been asking for that for years.

Yea. I believe they will do it in the final round of the Zurich for each players first tee

It’s actually before each round

“The PGA Tour is about to get a little louder.

Tournament officials announced Monday that the Zurich Classic will become the first Tour event to feature walk-up music.

Each two-man team that makes the cut at TPC Louisiana can pick a walkup song to be played on the first tee before each of their weekend rounds. The New Orleans-area tournament, scheduled for April 26-29, is the only team event on the Tour schedule.

“This innovation will try to further and enhance the concept and the team atmosphere,” said tournament director Steve Worthy.

The format is the same as last year – 72 holes of stroke play, with fourballs (best ball) during the first and third rounds and foursomes (alternate shot) during the second and final rounds.

The 80-team field will be cut to the low 35 and ties after two rounds.

Already committed to this year’s event are Justin Thomas (partnering with Bud Cauley), Jon Rahm (Wesley Bryan), Justin Rose (Henrik Stenson), Sergio Garcia (Rafa Cabrera Bello), Bubba Watson (Matt Kuchar) and new Masters champion Patrick Reed (Patrick Cantlay).”

Kraft is going to miss the even-par cut line by one stroke due to hitting a moving bird on a Par-3. Apparently because a bird is “God-made”, you can’t re-tee after striking one.

I've smoked a bird on a drive before. Killed it. Felt bad, but it didn't kee me from laughing so hard I nearly pissed myself.

Here’s the 77 that made the cut after round 2 of the Heritage. Really happy for Bryson right now. Watched a piece on his dad and it was incredible. Since there are 77 and standard cut rule applies, there will not be a second cut.

Top players after the final round of the Heritage. I didn’t get to watch because I was at a party all day, but I read that Satoshi Kodaira came out on fire.

The end of week 15 saw little changes in the OWGR standings. Congrats to Rahm on his Spanish Open win as well.

Sorry I haven’t been updating. Last two weekends were packed with activities and I’ve been working 16 hour shifts at work.

Players this week though!

Tiger would've won if the tournament had only been Saturday and Sunday.

I think.
