not trying to be too provocative, but how do you think she'd do against Marina Shafir? I think it would be pretty interesting - kinda similar builds, BJJ vs. judo..

Not sure tbh since Marina's been out of the game for a while with her childrens. It'd be a fun fight but Dern isn't a mma fighter, she's a bjj player that's lazy. The MMA LAB did right by kicking her out.. she wasn't helping the team and just taking, it sounds like.

Never met Dern, although I'd like to meet her.... In a hotel room at a beach resort.

I've met John Crouch several times... Him and my coach are best friends (they came up in the Gracie Academy together, and are both Royce black belts).. He's also the nicest guy, and has given fighters housing and transportation during training camps.... If he said that she needs to go, she needs to go.... I trust John as much as I trust my coach.

As for Mackenzie specifically, I heard that she is a talent and a hard worker when she's motivated and working.... But she does have that "Brazilian time" attitude.

Beaches there are meh Imo. I'm not a beach person at all but the beaches they have are all dirty (with exceptions of course)


Cornwall in England is far prettier around the coast, it's just too damned cold in England.


As I mentioned tho I'm not a beach person so it's something that didn't apply to me, the only times I went to the beach were because some chick nagged me and I haddnt knew her long enough to say fuck off

Sounds like a BJ Penn type issue. How frustrating is it for you when you have a guy in your class who's super talented but can't be bothered to out in the work? Does it get to you or just let him do his thing?

This is why places like New Jersey and New York are honestly the worst places in the history of the world.

Donald Trump is one example as to why NYC is terrible.

I was there often.. Its garbage lol. I dont like Jersey either.. Southern Jersey where Tara's from was okay. Not too bad. NYC? Cesspool, along with north jersey.

If you listen to her interviews you can see she's not in love with MMA.
It's not something she is ever gonna live, sleep and breathe. I seriously doubt
she'll ever reach her true potential in MMA

But thats ok I guess cuz she isn't concerned with it.

Wasted talent though....
