When a fighter misses weight like that her opponent should be the only one who can register a win. It shouldnt count as a loss if Amanda loses.

UFC pay is shit. If 7 pounds = 20% then she was only gonna get paid 35 pounds even if she made weight. That's less than what I've spent in the last two hours

This is the risk. She's getting the 20 percent of the opponents purse, but yea if dern starches her than it don't really mean shit. In ten years people will just see that she lost unless they remember

I'm actually curious if the commission will even let the fight go ahead, don't the fighters have to be within 5 lbs of each other? (excluding HW's)

I know it's been an issue in the past but I just can't remember which fight it affected. Basically the other fighter had restrictions on the weight he could rehydrate too. I'm thinking Jim Miller vs Thiago Alves......
