Feel free to add in any other helpful tenting set up advice
I know this isn't what you meant, but here's a tip. Watch for dead trees when setting up a tent. My buddy slept in this tent the night before, then the next afternoon...BOOM.

whoa that is bizarre and cool...can you do more than just two? would be hilarious in a circle...would make an epic orgy setup
You can zip as many together as you want. It's a brilliant design.

For my summer festivals I use the Coleman red 8 man you have up there...so cheap and they last a few years...not a bad tent.

I have a few nice tents but I don't take them to festivals cause some drunk guy might fall into it and break it or some shit....cheap is often the way to go unless you are packing the tent with you...cheap for car camp, and expensive for backpacking at least in my experience.
How's the headroom in the red Coleman?

U can stand up almost fully in the center area...says 72 inches and i am 72 inches exactly...not a problem in the center of tent IMO
That's good to know thanks. It gets great reviews and will likely be the choice.

I saw this outside my house yesterday. I don’t know if it counts, but it was outside, so.

I'd say that counts. Are peacocks usually around, or did this one escape from a zoo or some weirdos backyard who has an exotic animal fetish?

Iguanas, python, and saltwater crocodiles aren't bothersome?

Mockingbird parents would have fucked you up if you got even half as close as you are here.

Agreed.
I was pissing off the Mama Robin for sure. She was alarm chirping in a tree in my front yard but she made no attempt to scare me off. A Mockingbird would have buried it's beak into the back of my skull if I got this close to its baby.

Some asshole near my dad’s house had some escape. They ended up taking residence in the nearby woods and would come near the house sometimes. That sound is annoying as shit. The wildlife and fisheries department said they really couldn’t do anything about them since they aren’t harmful to local residents or livestock.

I'm surprised you don't get more of the shit we get in terms of invasive species. Your ecosystems are almost identical to ours (humid swamps)
