that rule is detrimental. the goal is good, because its trying to say "you can only fight if you really arent too big a guy"
but the fact of the matter is, if people miss weight, they were probably too big. so the opponent should either fight them or not. but let them rehydrate because the potential long-term impact from head injuries if your lacking brain fluid is scary
(i say this despite a friend requiring an opponent to stay below a certain limit the next day after coming in heavY)
