Just to be clear, separating children from parents is inhumane, and keeping children with parents is inhumane. Which means the only humane solution is release. Which is the entire agenda.

It isn't fixed, and can be reversed at any time. Adults may be detained for illegal border crossings, children may be detained 20 days. Keeping families together in detention throughout the process is not allowed, which was attempted once again under Obama and then shut down in 2015. Now familily detention facilities, which were ruled illegal, must be formed once again. This will go over really well (see ben shapiro's titter post above). I'd advise fact checking your media sources.

As outrage mounted about the Trump administration's zero-tolerance policy, officials issued the statement after Mexico's Foreign Affairs Secretary Luis Videgaray put a spotlight on the family's case at a news conference Tuesday.
He told reporters that the girl and her 10-year-old brother were being held at a facility in McAllen while their mother had been sent to a detention center in Brownsville.
But authorities with U.S. Customs and Border Protection said the separation happened because of the mother's role as a "material witness," not because she was being charged with illegal entry under the zero-tolerance policy.

Had to laugh, I read that Trump fixed the children separation thing, something all the liberals were begging him to do, and I'm thinking to myself "Trump just did something that almost everyone on both sides wanted him to do. Surely even fake news CNN is giving him props right now".
