UFC lightweight Desmond Green was arrested and jailed Monday on 20 separate charges, including DUI manslaughter, stemming from his alleged role in a car crash last August that left two women dead.
Green, 29, remained in custody as of Wednesday afternoon at the Broward County (Fla.) Main Jail on bonds totaling $194,000, according to online records. A warrant was issued for his arrest on June 19.
A request for comment with Green’s attorney of record wasn’t immediately returned. A UFC spokesperson acknowledged Green’s arrest via text message but did not immediately comment.
Green faces a litany of charges: Two second-degree felony counts of DUI manslaughter; four third-degree felony counts of DUI causing serious bodily injury; third-degree felony posession of cocaine; five misdemeanor counts of DUI property damage; and third-degree felony driving with a suspended license.
