Brought my dogs out for a walk and see some dude fucking around near by front door.
I start screaming at him "You don't fucking live there! Get the fuck out away from there NOW!"

He is drunk or high. Maybe a neighbor that doesn't know wtf, but I don't know this guy. I get back around and the guy is down the way a little. Get inside, lock the door, call cops of a suspicious person that was fucking around my house.

MOTHERFUCKER COMES UP AND TRIES TO OPEN THE DOOR.

I call back and tell the cops this mothrfuck is trying to get in right now, come get this dude! He's no longer just chillin outside.

He does it a few more times every 10 minutes or so.

I'm here, door locked, typing with a 9mm next to me.

This is why I own a gun. WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE POLICE??

Alright nothing to update.

Cops showed up, failed to listen to my clear instructions on how to come in to the locked area. Parked their car in front, walked way around to parking lot area in back, called me to ask where to go. They parked near where the guy is, but by the time they walked up he's gone. So I guess that's solved with just a police vehicle throwing lights around where he was chilling.
Delay in arrival is that it was shift change.

I tell them they should check on this little old lady's place as he was trying to get in there as well. I wasn't watching it after the first time he was hitting on her door so should make sure she's okay. He says okay then ignores it.
Say they'll do some patrols.
I went and checked on the lady myself. She heard the banging but didn't know it was at her door. She's fine.
