Headed out to a sports bar in Mexico to watch the UFC. I assume it's a bad idea to make bets in person here as a gringo. Even if I win I assume I will lose on the way home.

They do have a cock fighting ring next door to the bar...

Just find the closest Caliente and you're good. They are legit.

DC ain't never going back to LHW
Yep, there is just no way. If he somehow does he will look like a shell of himself. IMO it'd be a foolish move at this stage of his career anyway. He's the HW champ, what more could you want? Would be silly to go back down to the division everyone disrespects him in for being champ.

I have a bad feeling tonight about DC. He should win, but yeah... short notice, alleged hand injury, came in fat, Lewis' power etc. DC is 10x the fighter Lewis is but that power can change anything, and if he isn't 100% prepared.. it could get ugly. On top of that, he is getting older, although HW is an old man's game. I feel strange about this one.

I kind of worry about DC tonight as well. He's much more technical than Lewis, but he tends to get hit & Derrick's power is not to be tested.

Fuck Vannata is frustrating. He always seems like the more talented fighter, he just gets hit way too much and gives up rounds, he reminds me of Jordan Mein in that sense. Two ultra talented guys who don’t seem to know how to win.

Yep. and when you think about it, DC apparently turned down Stipe because he wasn't in shape/prepared enough to face him at this show... but accepted Lewis.

Lewis may not be the most technical guy in the world but he only needs one mistake to capitalize on and guys WILL get hurt.

Also thought DC looked awful at weigh ins, not like the strong cannon ball he appeared to be against Stipe. More like someone who hasn't trained more than a few weeks and is hoping his skills get him through.
