Whats sad is that the UFC seems to be running scared to cut guys, they know they will just go to Bellator and help build that organization up. I think they will hold onto Johnson and shelf him for a while and punish him with no income coming in. I think they wouldnt cut a main name even if he was involved in a hit and run with drugs...wait nope they wouldnt
Well he's still fighting in 10 days, so unless they shelf him AFTER that....

I wasn't directing my comments at any one person. I get it people HATE Dana, he has been screwing things up a lot lately, but all I am saying is, it's not all on him and he/Zuffa do still do a lot of good for the sport
Yes but my view is "Did", and for that stuff they get credit to me. Fair enough though.

You don't think they STILL do good things for the sport.....keep fighter pay out of it because that is so open to opinion.
I think they're in a holding pattern and at the limit of what people with Dana's education and training can do and the Fertitas are just holding with it. That's just how I see it, it's a new phase, they need real executives in Dana's position, they don't need the attention bullhorn anymore they need a lockdown strategy with partners that don't screw things up.

So they did good yes to get here, it got them here. It's not progressing beyond this with Dana in charge, he is a detriment to achieving the next phase of professionalism in the business and the branding and I've gone over it with Emery Myers, the mainstream media where I live (Toronto) considers Dana a major obstacle to them taking it seriously and will only talk about two things semi-regularly besides Dana as a "Vince Jr. dragging it into a WWE state"

Ronda (obviously) and (GSP, gone now), also Jones once (During DC feud) because it became bigger than MMA it crossed into what boxing registers with major media not covering UFC. Not even Conor came up with them.

So does the WWE, Vince listens to sycophants and won't attempt to shake things up and evolve either. The product is waiting for him to retire and give Stephanie and HHH the reigns in order to evolve again.

how is it open to opinion that fighters dont get paid enough? do you think they get paid too much?
It's opinion because who is to say what is too much compared to the age of the sport, overhead, etc...we just don't know.....and plenty of fighters make a shit ton of money

Minimum wage here gets you $28,800 based on 40 hours a week....so there are some fighters that might only make that, but a vast majority of them make far more....and it's the old adage, no one is twisting their arms to sign.

I'm not saying it is going to work, but to say it won't work because Tiger didn't take his seriously isn't giving Rumble a fair chance.
This is Ant Dog's second go round with anger counseling. Was ordered to 50? hours by the Cali court back in '09.

I hope AJ has his Good Will Hunting moment, for everybody's sake, including his.

LOL at what AJ posted. Sounds like the fat ass was just trying to get their attention by doing yoga right in front of them.

Considering other people have been fired or fined for offensive tweets before he should most definitely be punished

I'm just curious what asshole thought that 'fining' fighters due to promotional conduct clause is acceptable? They aren't in a league nor are their 'fines' made public, they aren't employees, and the figure head of the private company uses crude language and personal insults when dealing with media and fans. Stop with the fining bullshit.

Yeah, this exactly. Then it becomes a political, arbitrarily punitive, absurd near-royal system of favoritism. I don't like the halfways stuff either.

Had to be punishment for someone they did not want to cut but had to get all frowny faced at.
I'm thinking it was Forrest Griffin and his "Rape is the new something or other"
