Used a come-along to move a car without a rear end out of the garage, and move the project car in.

Fuck come alongs. I used them fuckers a hundred times but always fuck it up on the first attempt

sold the Police Charger, managed to load it on a trailer. Winches, hoists, jacks, jack stands, dolleys, levers...but I made it happen.

this makes it easy.

just gotta be careful of the potential energy and danger on stuff like that and work from there
that is what I tell people
I do love that video, very good and the guy smart and can articulate

I got no probs tho, loaded heavy equipment and other huge shit (even a few car/trucks)on trailers for 20+ years

Know what can break, and never be where the load is gonna be if something breaks.

I left the farm when I was 16, and my grandpa owned a bulldozer (a legit bulldozer, used to move train cars from derailments) so I saw a lot of big stuff getting moved around as a little kid. I'd be lying if I said it didn't feel pretty good to load big shit by myself now. I had to take a shower when I was done, I was just drenched in testosterone.

I just helped a friend of mine temporarily fix his garage door. It came off the track, partially fell, and got wedged between the track and wall, destroying his opener. Took the door apart, banged the track back to “close enough to straight”, and reassembled the door so his garage is secure and the door looks normal.

Hung a Slant6 (The Leaning Tower of Power) and 904 off an engine hoist and washed. Top picture is after hosing off with a water jet, 2nd pic is after spraying with EasyOff oven cleaner and letting it sit for an hour and then hosing off.

Best Engine Degreaser Ever. Cheap, Effective, and Smells Nice.
It got a wee bit janky getting the assembly in the air, due to the incline and the the fact I couldn't get the legs of the engine hoist under the engine until it was up...

I'll spray it down again after lunch, hose it off and put it on Craigslist.

Built these massive sections of roof in the mud yesterday. It was horrid! Flying them up in an hour.

had some nibbles at the /6 and transmission, but no buyers. Got a letter from the HOA, so I had to move this 800lb monster to the side of the house. It was nose-heavy enough to bust through the particle board. The real SOB was the right side wheel, the drum brake locked up. Would have been a lot easier to move it around, especially on the gravelbut I got it done.

It's 2019, renew your man-card early.

I took a nap. Now I am here drinking a scotch when the GF is in the kitchen making Japanese style cabbage rolls for dinner
