Been redoing my sons and daughters bedrooms and hung a family picture evenly on a set of stairs where none of the walls are square.
Sons and daughters rooms both finished.
I used multi coloured marettes on the end of the metal post hangers I used for the guns so no one would lose an eye or cut themselves running by them.
I was able to mount the foam pick axe and sword at the foot of his bed with Velcro.
I’d like to put an area rug in my sons room but he’s not into it. I’m going to keep looking to see if I find something that would look good then convince him he needs it.

Dad came over to spot me, in case I dropped it on my head. He couldn't resist grabbing some tools and trying to disconnect the parking brake.
After he left, I disconnected the parking brake.

Got a piece of 3/4 inch plywood cut down to fit on half of my king bed. My wife wanted a soft mattress and I didn’t so I’ve had one since we got it but she decided I was right (after 3 years) and wanted one too.
The great thing is that I can use the off cuts for a project I’m helping my son build for school, a manual gramophone. I’m not sure if my design will work but I’m pretty certain it will.

I did my first sprint triathlon today. The swimming is one of the hardest things I've done in my life. It's "only" a 300 meter swim but I haven't done any formal swimming since I was 8.
I just chuckled as I was setting up my transition spot and I see all these $1,000 plus road bikes. I pulled up with a $500 mountain bike in the back of my truck.

Got our old house ready to sell
Moved
Carried approx 75 heavy boxes from garage to various rooms of new house.
Painted ceilings, 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room, and 1 bath so far at new house.
Painted front door
Changed out 3 shower heads
Changed thermostats in water heater (changing out elements tomorrow).
Replaced 2 light fixtures
Hung TV’s
Picked up new furniture and brought it back to the house.
Trimmed all landscaping
Cut back two trees growing too close to house & roof
Cleaned gutters
Tomorrow I will finish painting a 3rd bedroom & start organizing the garage.
Kitchen cabinets being delivered this Friday, will install Saturday & Sunday.
