Yes we were the generation for whom tuitions were raised 200% and who's wages stayed stagnant while inflation soared. Also the first generation that couldn't expect to earn as much as their parents but were still raised to chase the dream of being saddled with a mortgage and a two car garage. On top of this we then had to raise whiny millenial kids who needed braces and tuba lessons. (I don't know if any of this is true, but it might be, I was too busy playing bass in a grunge band and doing bottle tokes to worry about school. It was a wild time to be alive.
