Yes I did, saw the last Iine gregor, thought McGregor. Conor definitely has a chance to beat khabib. Don't know enough about gregor Gillespie, only saw him fight once I think.I believe you misread what he said.

that works both ways. A couple diamonds to the dome and Khabib's takedowns will start to look like those of a JV wrestler.I...he will pound a black belt to white belt fairly quickly I would think
I agree, I actually was not talking about dustin but about a matchup with a Submission expert(I know dustin has nasty chokes but he prefers to box no doubt)that works both ways. A couple diamonds to the dome and Khabib's takedowns will start to look like those of a JV wrestler.
His wrestling is other-worldly. I think it would be a very intriguing matchup.Yes I did, saw the last Iine gregor, thought McGregor. Conor definitely has a chance to beat khabib. Don't know enough about gregor Gillespie, only saw him fight once I think.
With both ur legs, one arm and ur poster controlled by Khabib.... i dont see how u gonna threat with submission attempts... has to happen in the scramble and ive never seen Khabib in a guillotine were he actually was in trouble. Khabib wants his opponents to go for the guillotine so he can get the takedown easier. In the sub attempt category its only Ferguson or Gillespie that could cause issues for Khabib. Except for that scenario, i agree fully with ECC170.Who's the best submission guy at 155? We've never even seen khabib even really threatened on the ground have we?
SN bet?Khabib has shown he can simply walk people down and spam leg shots until he gets in on his opponents and then it's a wrap. No one has really been able to make him consistently pay for that strategy.
Poirier needs to avoid that dreaded single leg to body lock transition yet still be within range to light Khabib up with some fast hands. It will require some very tricky footwork.
I think Poirier has it in him to win, don't ask me why but I'm picking him to win in the 2nd via stoppage.
Interesting take. Especially the part when he goes off, he goes off. Makes me want to see this one even more now.I think Poirier will hold on to the last 2 rounds. I can see a scramble to the feet and a hastiness to DP that pays off - when this guy goes off he goes the fuck off; never seen someone who throws so many punches and actually has a high success rate in his finishes, like someone else said above : he is now in his prime, everything he's been working on is gelling together very well his last few fights.
As much as i love khabib and his Grab and Smash style, i started seeing more chinks appear every fight and i get this feeling that the hype is getting too high and could turn into a curse very soon.
In conclusion, back in the day when i used to bet the fights I would bet on Khabib and start sweating the moment i click on Confirm.......i would almost always lose those bets
