I'd pick purple kush for you. For me, I've never been disappointed with Girl Scout. And I had some Bruce banner years ago so I wouldn't leave without some pink banner just in case it's a similar strain. It was that good. But that was one you'd want to use if you were going to a party or before sex. Kush to mellow out.@Shinkicker this is the menu I've been buying from lately. Man, all this time I thought BC was a Mecca for good herb. I’ve always assumed there was killer bud up where you are. Being in Tx, I’ve always been envious of places like BC where it can be had legally.I already know what I need to know but thanks. They still have stores here but Trudie's goons are shutting them down to make room for the entrenched government monopoly. And that stuff is like $100 a gram and bone dry, in seven layers plastic packaging, completely moisture free and tested to be ultra low in thc. It is quite simply the worst marijuana ever grown anywhere on earth and it's coming to a store near me.
I have seen the future and it's name is booze.
there is tons of good weed in bc .it just can not be found in a govt dispensary. the govt weed was packaged last year and sat in a warehouse since then.it is garbage. our legalization was an utter failure. it was more of a monopolization by huge corporate growers. technically only the weed grown by legal grow ops is legal.if it does not contain a tax band it is still illegal. people are still getting arrested for growing plants in their backyards.it is kind of a jokeMan, all this time I thought BC was a Mecca for good herb. Is there better weed on the “street”? It isn’t even legal here, and I can easily find weed that will blow my socks off. In fact, some of the bud is too much for me beyond a few puffs. I usually buy my drugs in a dark alley from a seedy guy that hangs out behind a dumpster
I suspect you may be a traditionalist , but have you tried concentrates? I’ve grown to be fond of them and they can be quite handy. I don’t know what the rules are there, but concentrates are super illegal here. For bud, anything less than an ounce is just a ticket. However, any concentrate or edibles is an instant felony. Fucked up, it’s the same as getting caught with meth.
So strange, and it does seem kind of like a joke. Would it be safe to say that states like CO have had a better result with legalization compared to Canada? Texas just legalized CBD...so I guess that's a small step in the right direction. But I think we're a long way from rec or medical here though.there is tons of good weed in bc .it just can not be found in a govt dispensary. the govt weed was packaged last year and sat in a warehouse since then.it is garbage. our legalization was an utter failure. it was more of a monopolization by huge corporate growers. technically only the weed grown by legal grow ops is legal.if it does not contain a tax band it is still illegal. people are still getting arrested for growing plants in their backyards.it is kind of a joke
i think colorado did it the right way. in BC where @Megaterio Llamas and I live there used to be dispensaries everywhere when it was illegal. there are hundereds of companies making all the usual edibles and carts.all that shit is illegal now and the govt stores only sell overpriced weed bone dry and full of stems to suckers. i usually buy one ounce for 89-119 per month and a few assorted small bud eighths for 20 bucks each. weed on the street is roughly 150 an ounce (120-180) but weed from the bc govt website is 375-450 an ounce. i usually just wait for a sale and have never been let down yet. . there are a lot of rich fags in our province that like to buy a pack of prerolled joints for 75 bucks just so they can pll them out in front of their friends and feel cool though so here is a market among the more money than brains crowd im going to drop a couple menus belowSo strange, and it does seem kind of like a joke. Weird that it is legal there for you, but still have to go around that to get quality product. So I'm guessing the pics you show in the fight threads and whatnot are products without the tax band? The stuff you get looks killer.
Help @Megaterio Llamas get some weed that actually works!
Damn, what a mess. Thanks for the info - I had always (incorrectly) assumed that it was a lot more similar to how it works in CO. I'm good with the pricing on the Shamrock site, and see what you mean on the gubment site. "Street" pricing here is anywhere from $40-$60 USD for an eighth, or around $300 for an oz (giver or take depending on bud or the seller). In CO dispensaries it is usually about half of that cost unless you're buying something fancy. Interesting what you say about the 90s as that's when I first started hearing about the killer BC buds. When I was in college, you were a god damn legend if you showed up to a party with BC kind buds . I grew up in high school on Mexican brick weed (which you would hate, compressed and full of seeds), i didn't even know what "kind" was until the late 90s. Now it's all kind bud, I wouldn't even know where to find that old shit weed.i think colorado did it the right way. in BC where @Megaterio Llamas and I live there used to be dispensaries everywhere when it was illegal. there are hundereds of companies making all the usual edibles and carts.all that shit is illegal now and the govt stores only sell overpriced weed bone dry and full of stems to suckers. i usually buy one ounce for 89-119 per month and a few assorted small bud eighths for 20 bucks each. weed on the street is roughly 150 an ounce (120-180) but weed from the bc govt website is 375-450 an ounce. i usually just wait for a sale and have never been let down yet. . there are a lot of rich fags in our province that like to buy a pack of prerolled joints for 75 bucks just so they can pll them out in front of their friends and feel cool though so here is a market among the more money than brains crowd im going to drop a couple menus below

here is the bc govt website with 62 dolar eighths. they are the most expensive on the site but that kind of price is insulting . i dont care if it is the best weed ever grown nothing is worth those prices
Cannabis dried flower: indica, sativa, hybrid | BC Cannabis Stores
part of the issue is that BC is spoiled as we have always been flooded with good weed since the late 80s. if you live in the middle of canada weed was always expensive and not quite as good . the prairies and the maritimes always had strict punishments for cultivation and trafficking where BC liked to turn a blind eye. it floated our economy during the dark days in the 90s when there was no work .quite often even for large commercial grow ops people got a fine and house arrest here where in saskatchewan they wanted to send you to jail for years. if you live in some shit hole province legalization might be seen as a good deal . out west not so much. no one was ever asking for it to be legalized anyways. 30 years of protests and all they ever wanted was decriminalization
Damn that's cheap. Over production? My friend in CO says OZs are 40 dollars !!!!!! They are giving it away.
Funny, I had the PK last time, it was okay. good call.I'd pick purple kush for you. For me, I've never been disappointed with Girl Scout. We had 120 dispensaries a year ago, now we have maybe 15-20 left. The place is lined up to the sidewalk outside.Nice menu and you're paying about half the cost of what it is here!
Holy shit
Yes I do resort to concentrates sometimes. They are about to become 'legal' here but as with flowers it's going to be low thc garbage grown by ex cops and political insiders and meant to push BC bud out the door, which it never will of course. Legalization is the worst thing to happen to the weed scene in BC in the past 50 years and second place isn't close.Man, all this time I thought BC was a Mecca for good herb. I’ve always assumed there was killer bud up where you are. Being in Tx, I’ve always been envious of places like BC where it can be had legally.

I will never resort to Trudeau's cop and crony supply @Grateful Dude even it means going back to booze. That stuff is worse than 70s Mexican brick weed; I would never even try it.So strange, and it does seem kind of like a joke. Oh yes, the western states all pursued real legalization ie legalization of the existing industry. enabling those folks to produce real cannabis legally. Trudie's faux legalization actually hyper criminalizes the existing industry with draconian 14 year prison sentences (murderers don't get 14 years in Canada remember) while handing over a legal monopoly of very low quality product to certain key ex police chiefs and Liberal party insiders. The Liberals have always had a very corrupt, banana republic style of governance and Trudie continues in that tradition.Would it be safe to say that states like CO have had a better result with legalization compared to Canada?
