But it's still a risk that's unique to the job.it's not a new risk. It's part of the job.
The firefight took place on a normal street, not a highway. Did you even watch the video?"they" being cops like the ones in this video, who engage in a firefight in the middle of a crowded highway.
Admittedly on first viewing it looked likea highway to me too, that's a fuck load of lanes. Either way, using bystanders as cover is a faux pas.The firefight took place on a normal street, not a highway. Did you even watch the video?
The chase was on a highway but then they exited. The road they were on is four lanes each way, but there are stop lights.Admittedly on first viewing it looked likea highway to me too, that's a fuck load of lanes. Either way, using bystanders as cover is a faux pas.
There isn't a "friendly public face" component to a soldier's job the way there is for LE. You're also ignoring that although officer death on the job its almost always targetted unlike the industrial worker example you normally use.LoL.
It's a Parkway not a Highway!!! 4 lanes in both directions, with stoplights, still a highway (a main road). I just ignore him/her.
But with you, I'm specifically talking about the risk of being murdered on the job. It's really rare that someone tries to kill an LE.
But soldiers deal with that same risk every day, as a real risk, and manage not elevate their safety over the safety of those they swore to protect.
It is a road and not a highway. Miramar Parkway just happens to be its name, but it easily could have been Miramar St or Miramar Rd, as other similarly sized roads directly to the north of it are called (Sheridan St, Stirling Rd for example). It's a Parkway not a Highway!!! 4 lanes in both directions, with stoplights, still a highway (a main road).
You do no such thing. You actually go out of your way to comment on every post I make and post in every thread I create.I just ignore him/her.
You're repeatedly posted statistics for on the job deaths and pointed out that cops aren't high on the list of people likely to die at work.who brought up industrial worker? And there is definitely a 'friendly public face' component to a soldier's job - especially in peacekeeping missions...a situation where literally the only thing two sides in conflict can agree on is that they'd like to see you dead or out of their country.
there isn't a rational way to excuse what these LEs did.
this is probably my favorite recent donut operator vidDonut Operator rocks.
State highways are roads. They are not the same as controlled-access highways, which are simply called "highways" on the east coast.Miramar Parkway is part of State Road 858 in Florida.
"State Road 858 (SR 858), known locally as Hallandale Beach Boulevard, is a 5.429 miles (8.737 km) long[1] divided highway in southern Broward County, Florida. Its western terminus is an intersection with US 441 (SR 7) at the border between Miramar and West Park; its eastern terminus is an intersection with South Ocean Drive (SR A1A) on the boundary between Hallandale Beach and Hollywood, just east of the Intracoastal Waterway. SR 858 is the latitudinal baseline for Hallandale Beach's street grid.[2]"
That whole state looks like a syphilis infected dick.Highway map of Florida. Note the absence of Miramar Parkway

You should be apologizing to me for both of your fuck -ups (comma use and erroneous use of the generic term "highway").so SAD.
can't even admit when he/she is wrong. just keeps posting stuff about commas and highways
Comma is used incorrectly. This is an argument you will lose, every time.
