The Irishman 6/10.

I enjoyed it. Then afterwards it started irritating me.

Won't watch it again like goodfellas or casino but I was happy to watch it once

A star is born. The lady gaga one.

Too long. Didn't invest in the vhatacters. 5/10

The new Mary Poppins. Kids were annoying. Songs were distinctly average. Story was contrived. 5.5/10

End Game. Better the second time round. 8/10

Watched Angry Birds 2, it had it's moments but it was filled with generic story elements and tried too hard to be edgy, I actually thought the first one was significantly funnier, but I will add that I wasn't high when I watched the first one.

I'm loathe to give it a 5/10 but I have to do it.

The Irishman: 5.5/10

Pacino was great, the story was okay, DeNiro can barely walk around anymore and has no business playing a tough guy.

4/10 do not recommend . the trailer makes it look much better than it actually is

Yesterday (on Amazon Prime).

9/10

My wife and I both loved it. It was simple yet sweet. Incredible soundtrack (using The Beatles catalog respectfully and well-timed throughout).

My only complaint is that there was a scene in the trailer which didn’t appear in the actual movie. I was looking forward to seeing that particular one, but it apparently was edited out. Regardless, I highly recommend if you are looking for something pure.

4/10. Decent concept, poor execution. I usually steer clear of child led movies and I should have stuck to my guns. Cliche horror under the guise of a superhero what if story.

Watched it because I was on a plane and it was the first thing that caught my interest being it was Danny Boyle and I hadn't heard of it before.

Not a Beatles fan but the whole premise was interesting. Bit too much Kate comedian bird in it, unless she's playing Hilary Clinton that girl tends to rub me up the wrong way.

I loved A Star is Born. Bit of a Cooper nut, I thought he should have had an Oscar for that. Every time I hear that song I tear up. I thought it was brilliant.

The Irishman 6.5/10

Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood 6/10

Both good movies, nothing to write home about. Probably not top ten work out of each director (Does Tarantino even have 10 movies?)
Once Upon a Time only 6/10? If it wasn't so long I would have bought another ticket to go and watch it again straight after I thought it was that good.

Uncut Gems 5/5

Adam Sandler does a serious role every decade. And this one is like the others. It's amazing.
Absolute near perfect tragedy that we'll make you cringe and beg for mercy from beginning to end.
Former Playboy model and fashion designer Julia Fox is absolutely the breakout star here and proves she's a hell of an artist.

Go see it when you need some pain in your life and a great movie.

eh I thought it was enjoyable but pointless and unremarkable. The same “ode to cinema” motto and over the top violent closure as Inglorious Basterds. plus the Coen bros. basically did the same movie a couple years ago (Hail Caesar) with more inspiration.

Once upon a time... must be really special for movie addicts and people who lived in Hollywood in the late 60’s. I’m sure there are thousands of eastern eggs that I didn’t notice.

It's funny. I saw that film last October at a special screening. I'm glad you liked it but I thought it was one of the worst films I'd seen last decade.

Absolutely hated it.

Why have I never watched Hail Caesar? Ok I'll sort that out this week.

I have a habit of falling asleep in cinemas even during really loud movies so I was chuffed I didn't during this, I didn't know about the Manson stuff before going so that had me when I realised too. For a 3.5 hour or however long it was movie, the time flew by.

Margot Robbie and Brad were brilliant I thought. Looking forward to watching at home again.

Is it a tear jerker or just cringe? He has me by the balls sometimes tear jerker wise, I wish I'd never bought Click, I was in bits for about an hour after.

You sure it’s that long? I know The Irishman is 3.5 hours long and people are still freaking out about it . There is literally no mention of it without stressing how long it is while with Once upon a time I don’t recall it. iirc it’s ~2 hours long.

and are you familiar with the Coen brothers work? If so don’t expect Hail Caesar to be anywhere close to their best work. At the same time if you’re not you might get put off by the slow pace and quirkiness. it’s just a pointless movie about movies.
