Splinty @Splinty is this all on the up and up or can you sense something shady going on? To me, a total layperson, the reporter seemed a bit aggressive but it seems to all make sense, except that such a protocol would be followed about this particular incident, but idk.
Department of Defense Off-Camera Press Briefing by Assistant to the Secretary of Defense Hoffman and Deputy Assistant to the Secretary of Defense Farah > U.S. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE > Transcript
back in 2004, being near an explosion was only treated with a routine check, and even if you were showing signs of concussion, you were returned to your duty within few days of rest, no one really gets medevac for being near an explosion unless you have shrapanel stuck in you, had some burns, or blown to pieces.

we used to get rocket attacks all the time, funny enough, it was when we were on R&R at the same Al Asad base, and no matter how close you were to the explosion, unless the things I typed above happened, everyone just went on with their business. Same thing for incoming mortars at the FOB (forward operating base).

if they really have problems later down the road, they can all put in their VA claims for service-connected disability compensation. That's what everyone does / did. But then again, these guys are like Airforce or rear echelon folks, not a front line grunt.

Joe Biden told Vice News that he would not seek to deport drunk driving illegal migrants.

Immigration agents should “only arrest for the purpose of dealing with a felony that’s committed [in the United States], and I don’t count drunk driving as a felony,” Biden told his interviewers Jan. 20.

“We’re not going to deport anybody who has not — in this country — committed a felony in this country. In this country, committed a felony,” he said.

But many Americans have been killed by drunk-driving illegals, and DUIs are commonplace among illegals. For example, In fiscal 2019, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency arrested many thousands of illegals following DUI charges. The 2019 end-of-year reportshowed 49,106 criminal convictions for DUIs, alongside 39,717 traffic violations, 47,453 “dangerous drugs” convictions, and 26,156 assault charges

George Soros warns Trump of potential economic doom before election
  • George Soros said that the U.S. economy could be headed for calamity as a result of President Donald Trump’s efforts to juice American business.
  • “The stock market, already celebrating Trump’s military success, is breaking out to reach new heights,” he said. “But an overheated economy can’t be kept boiling for too long.”
  • The longtime investor’s comment came on the heels of fresh record highs in the U.S. stock market and amid the longest bull market in American history.

Fox's Napolitano: There is 'ample and uncontradicted' evidence supporting Trump's removal from office
Fox News senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano on Thursday penned an op-ed arguing that the articles of impeachment and the House managers' case against President Trump provide "ample and uncontradicted" evidence to support the Senate removing him from office.

"What is required for removal of the president? A demonstration of presidential commission of high crimes and misdemeanors, of which in Trump's case the evidence is ample and uncontradicted," he wrote.

Impeachment Manager: Mike Pence Involved in ‘Cover Up’ of Call with Ukrainian President

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) addressed the controversy on Thursday afternoon via Twitter.

“Just left the secure room having read the classified document regarding [Vice President] Pence’s Sept 18 call [with] Zelensky,” Murphy tweeted. “1. Nothing in it is classified. It should be made part of the public record immediately. 2. Hiding evidence of wrongdoing through bogus classification is unacceptable.”
