Slavery? Cmon now. He represents a major company and his actions, specifically when he fucks up reflects on the company. The code of conduct is a farce unless it is strictly enforced.
Well technically he isn't an employee. If they don't like his actions they can always fire him.

The worse case scenario for DC would be to win all his fights and lose to Jones again. That would eat me the fuck up knowing I only had the belt because the champ that I couldn't beat left. Then he came back, beat me and took the belt back.
Well if dist of Columbia wins that is exactly what is going to happen

If you were an escort, what would your rates be?
As someone who has paid for escorts on quite a few occasions, I think about the question a lot. I think I would first employ strategies I learned from watching The Wire. Sometimes you gotta give out free samples and let the clientele get a taste for what you're offering. As long as that pussy is clean/groomed, I'll come eat that shit for free the first time. Now when they call me again the 2nd time around, I will probably charge them $150 for a full Priziesthorse ravaging.

The timing of this couldn't be better (for Jones), and we're all assuming that the UFC will announce that Jones is fighting the winner of Cormier vs Gus, correct? Two guys he'll be the favorite to beat again, by decision. Speaking of which, I'd be stoked if Jones came back and elevated his game to a Prime Silva matrix level, for a few fights at least.

I think so too. It will be a shame for DC to have to carry that sort of legacy. A tainted belt.
As cocky and arrogant as dc is i wouldn't feel bad for him. I felt bad when he cried after losing to Jones but then he proceeded to act like a fool when he beat Johnson. I do, though, take a step back as I promised I would do and appreciate that he is a good fight for Jones and he makes it interesting for me. That I'm not happy with his arrogance only makes that fight much more fun for me to watch.

THe only thing he is, is a state level non-repeat offender, if the New York DUI was admissible he is a wreckless driving or worse REPEAT offender overall.

So technicalities keep him from being a repeat offender in this case but he has totalled two cars the second case with bodily harm so, to me he's lucky he didn't do this New York.

In NEw York he is a repeat offender and serves.
Good info. I was wondering why a repeat offender wouldn't serve time, didn't know it went state to state like that.

Well don't quote me on it, but I think unless he violated a Federal Statute you cannot use other state convicitions outside of the prosecutorial jurisdition in the prosecution in that state.

I also assume what he was charged with were state level crimes.

Had he done it in New York with their much harder stance and repeat offence, not to mention no current MMA reach, he serves time.

And for anyone thinking I'm hating on him or this plea, I'm just stating the facts that muddy the "Repeat offender" water technicality, and personally, my prediction is we have not seen the last of court room Jon Jones by a LONGSHOT.

"UFC will thoroughly review the agreement before discussing Jones' possible reinstatement to return to competition"

regardless of how he comes back, Pre-Hit'n'Run Jones is the goat.
Nah...unless you meant "goat" literally?

Seriously though, Jones was on his way to being one of the greatest, if not the greatest of all time when his own actions derailed him, so we'll see what happens when he comes back.

I'm really surprised that the DA and the judge did not take this as an opportunity to grand stand for attention or give him an inflated order.

He got treated fairly. This is what non repeat offenders get.
Didn't he get arrested for DUI in 2012, for throwing his Bentley into a light pole? I don't know if he faced any actual legal charges from that, but still...this wasn't his first go around at being an idiot on the road.

Surprisingly, your first charge of leaving the scene of an accident while causing bodily harm is only a class A misdemeanor in NY compared to it being a felony in New Mexico.

Yes but I think they treat DUI worse so I think the prior would carry more weight than it would in NM

I get that, then why have a code of conduct? Also I'm sure their agreement, while contractors, is similar to at will employment where they can fire you or ice you for what ever they want.
That wasn't in dispute. Should they tho? If GSP was promiscuous should he have been fired? Where does it end? So JBJ did coke out of competition and an error caused him to be tested. Why should he get fired? It's silly.

Oh I get what you're saying, but unfortunately that's not how it works. Filed for coke, no, but was it handled poorly, yes. But the dui and hit an run as one of the public faces of the company, yea he should be punished, but not banned or even let go..... I donno

Probably the most savage shit I have seen in the octagon.
Choke someone the fuck out.
Drop them like a sack of potatoes.
Walk away like it is was no big deal.

This was the shit! I dig JBJ and would legit fan out like some dudes do and lick all on his virtual balls. Now THAT is a Q&A I want. Wonder if ol Mal would hook a bitch up
