yeah I feel you. That whole system is set up to fail average folks like us. I had to raid my 401k and various other shit to get out of legal shit I got myself into by being a dumbass for a few years.Yeah all I had was a court appointed attorney

I've never heard any rumors of DC and adultery.DC is touted as being an upstanding person, in spite of the rumors of adultery, we want him to stay champ?
Gus seems like a quiet, calm fella. Now. His history of being a convicted violent criminal who served jail time
doesn't seem to dull his blonde, blue eyed? appeal to Zuffa nor fans. I don't see anyone mentioning his criminal past at
every turn an in every interview. Guess his shit doesn't count, only Jones' indiscretions do.
Jones ain't married. Too me it's fascinating learning what morals or core values people overlook and what they don't. If it was an individual thing based on personal experience I could dig it, but it seems to be a majority thing with fans. I can't quite figure it out with my pea brain yet.I've never heard any rumors of DC and adultery.
Plus, even if its true, it wouldn't be surprising for a pro athlete to be involved in something like that. It pretty much comes with the territory (not that I agree with it because I don't)
That's why I didn't list that under the problem I have with Jones.
The coke and random chicks that he gets with doesn't bother me. It evidently doesn't bother his wife either so I have no problem with it.
i agree the civil trial will more than likely be a big amount and pretty much a guaranteed pay out, but we know Uncle dana will make sure its paid. The code of conduct policy is and has always been a joke.
But in this particular instance, it seems irrelevant. A fine would just enrich the UFC and probably get tacked back on in bonuses after his next fight. A suspension would probably be considered concurrent with his current suspension/title strip. If the court isn't going to take further action, this is over except for the civil trial that will doubtless compel Jones to fight a lot more frequently to pay off.
Can you elaborate on the Gus story? First time I've heard it.Jones ain't married. Too me it's fascinating learning what morals or core values people overlook and what they don't. Adultery= don't condone it but it's not a big deal, lots of athletes cheat. Not a character breaker. (I don't know if it was a one time attempt or even a real attempt at all, there was just a story about his behavior at the fan expo one year when he was still with Strikeforce or just came from SF. A friend told me about the Creep Life.)
Jailbird= people say Gus was young, he didn't beat up the stranger woman just the stranger guy. Served his time and doesn't wanna talk about it anymore. A ok with fans and media.
Illegitimate children= Nobody seems to think this is a flaw at all, it's never addressed even when there are multiple baby mamas.
DUI with prop damage (his)= hoorrrrrible.
Doing coke on your personal time= my goodness that man is the worst!
Fleeing scene with minor injuries and prop damage= what an unforgivable act. He should go to jail for years!
Personally, I find the children out of wedlock with multiple partners despicable and assaulting innocent, unsuspecting people/gang activity to be one of the lowest acts. Pure trash.
I personally don't give a fuck about the property damage aspect, but hitting someone and bailing is a pretty shitty thing to do. Him calling an ambulance could've been the difference between a person living and dying. Same with the DUI. He hit a telephone pole with his car, who cares. Would you feel the same way if it was a kid on a bicycle?DUI with prop damage (his)= hoorrrrrible.

Report: Alexander Gustafsson Served 15 Months in Swedish Prison for GBH | Bleacher ReportCan you elaborate on the Gus story? First time I've heard it.
Gus used to beat up random people in front of their girls when young. He isn't the picture perfect guy to be champion.DC is touted as being an upstanding person, in spite of the rumors of adultery, we want him to stay champ?

I'd feel different if it was any innocent living being that was seriously harmed in any accident, dui or no. As to calling the ambulance, it wasn't just the pregnant driver and Jones, there was that third car occupied by an off duty police officer. If Jones' called rather than the other parties what difference in the outcome? Jones is not medically trained to be able to provide immediate help to any victims. His leaving the scene had no effect at all on the health of the other parties.I personally don't give a fuck about the property damage aspect, but hitting someone and bailing is a pretty shitty thing to do. Its not like he knew that the 3rd car was occupied by a off duty cop.I'd feel different if it was any innocent living being that was seriously harmed in any accident, dui or no. Playing the 'what if' game is pointless.
It's hardly a 'what if' game. The laws are written in an attempt to prevent the scenarios I'm describing. He didn't know if the person he hit was okay, he didn't know there was someone else there to help. He hit someone and bailed, plain and simple, and that's a dog shit move. The idea that no one was seriously hurt so it's not a big deal to stick around to fulfill your legal and ethical obligations is crazy to me.I'd feel different if it was any innocent living being that was seriously harmed in any accident, dui or no. If he doesn't come out to "The Champ is Here" we riot.God. This thread turned gay. Hopefully JJ has this as his entrance music for his return fight.
Hey, just a random question. How many hours in a typical month do you spend fist pumping?God. This thread turned gay. Hopefully JJ has this as his entrance music for his return fight.
how do you know what he saw? he fled, stopped, jogged back for his loot, fled again. He's fast but not Flash Gordon. The off duty cop reported that he (the cop) got out of the car and watched Jon leave then went over to the other vehicle. So when Jones came back there was activity at the scene and again no medical training to assist and help was called. This is in a city not some desert 100 miles away from help lol. It's hardly a 'what if' game. The laws are written in an attempt to prevent the scenarios I'm describing.
