Dismissive of what?
This administration has taken the time to sit down with Kim Kardashian and actively work with groups to get innocent people out of jail. You can say "Well, they did it for the commercial." but that undermines that the outcome is unquestionably positive. Same with the posthumous pardon of Jack Johnson. Sure, it's symbolic, but it takes little effort and no one else bothered to do it. That's one of the most important sports figures in American history and when you ask most people they think it's the dude that sings those stoner songs. I don't keep it a secret that I don't think much of this administration, but give credit where it's due.

I'm straining a bit to see what relation this has to my post, which simply noted that the President choosing to highlight this particular "achievement" during the Super Bowl in a commercial has a purpose and the post I quoted above was that purpose. Your post is also achieving that purpose. Every ad is designed to do something and this one was designed to give supporters or apologists talking points for Trump having somehow done something of significance specifically for black people engaged with the criminal justice system. Your linking this to the Jack Johnson pardon is evidence that you already racialized the story as posthumous pardons certainly have no relation to contemporary criminal justice reform. The takeaway from all this is obviously "welp, maybe old Trumpito isn't so racist after despite what Black and Latino people in his country are saying every day about his policies. And while we're at it, he helps the falsely accused get justice. Y'know, he was falsely accused himself! That Democrat party is full of crap!"

This is the underlying message of the ad and see right here on this thread as the desired talking points unspool. This is why political advertising is done: to change the conversational frame. It's a smart strategy that looks like it's aimed at Black voters, but in reality just gives cover to anyone but Black voters seeking a reason to justify how they could possibly consider voting for this guy without killing themselves.

Wait, are you pretending that the last 6 years hasn't been the democratic party and their supporters playing the race card against Trump at every opportunity real or imagined?

Case in point.

Dude

Trump's your man that's cool. But if you think his racism is imagined then you are editing facts to fix your narrative.

I'm really not going to dig up the quotes and his history.

I don't really care that much about you.

Be happy that I've even replied to you.

You can feel free not to reply to me if you're going to completely misrepresent me and post garbage like this. My feelings won't be hurt at all.

So you won't have any problem posting 2 or 3 quick examples?

Yeah. I would

I'm really tired and can't be bothered.

It's all there if you want to educate yourself.

Pay me £50 and I will spend an hour educating you.

But I'm not doing it for free.

That's a long winded way of saying "Shit, I can't."

How?

Because he does that often when mocking people and not just when he mocks someone with an affliction that is similar to that?

Because that's all I've heard.
That’s pretty much it.
If you call everyone you disagree with a retard. Then disagree with a mentally disabled person and treat them the same. Are you making fun of retarded people?
