finished last night, not bad.

Harvard and the Making of the Unabomber
In 1959 a comfortable old house stood on the site. Known as the Annex, it served as a laboratory in which staff members of the Department of Social Relations conducted research on human subjects. There, from the fall of 1959 through the spring of 1962, Harvard psychologists, led by Henry A. Murray, conducted a disturbing and what would now be seen as ethically indefensible experiment on twenty-two undergraduates.

To preserve the anonymity of these student guinea pigs, experimenters referred to individuals by code name only. One of these students, whom they dubbed “Lawful,” was Theodore John Kaczynski, who would one day be known as the Unabomber, and who would later mail or deliver sixteen package bombs to scientists, academicians, and others over seventeen years, killing three people and injuring twenty-three.

another good one:

Ultimately stunning in its revelations, Lutz Dammbeck's THE NET explores the incredibly complex back-story of Ted Kaczynski, the infamous Unabomber. This exquisitely crafted inquiry into the rationale of this mythic figure situates him within a late 20th Century web of technology - a system that he grew to oppose. A marvelously subversive approach to the history of the Internet, this insightful documentary combines speculative travelogue and investigative journalism to trace contrasting counter cultural responses to the cybernetic revolution.

For those who resist these intrusive systems of technological control, the Unabomber has come to symbolize an ultimate figure of Refusal. For those that embrace it, as did and do the early champions of media art like Marshall McLuhan, Nam June Paik, and Stewart Brand, the promises of worldwide networking and instantaneous communication outweighed the perils.

Dambeck's conceptual quest links these multiple nodes of cultural and political thought like the Internet itself. Circling through themes of utopianism, anarchism, terrorism, CIA, LSD, MK-ULTRA, Tim Leary, Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters, THE NET exposes conspiracies and upheavals, secrets and cover-ups along the way.

Hey Daglord @Daglord thanks

Always love your posts but do you not find great suspicion in anything from Netflix these days? The trends I've been seeing in their content lately has been putting up a lot of red flags imo.

I find suspicion in almost everything ;)

I watched it all last night & don't have any problems with it (off the top of my head). I was most curious if they would mention his time @ Harvard & they did. what is your problem with them? I also thought Wormwood (also from Netflix) was great.

From what I’ve seen, Netflix is totally pushing;

a) lgbtq diversity. Absolutely huge % of content relative to their total library

b) cultural Marxism/ globalist values . I don’t barely watch it at all but in the sparse hours I’ve peeked when my wife is watching I’ve been amazed how much nuthugging on Obama/Michelle and socialist values I’ve seen its bizarre. I heard a rumour that the Obama’s are investors/shareholders in Netflix but not confirmed. For sure the whole network is Dem based. They wouldn’t dare post anything even remotely related to nationalist values or anything related to why trump is popular these days

c) overall imbalance of sex/violence/gore/satanic content. Just browse the titles and notice what ratio of dark disturbing shit there is vs anything wholesome. That love death and robots showgirls example was super cool and exciting for advancement in animated content but why the hell they all have tits and sex scenes and r rated content?

d) complete lack of content depicting a simple nuclear family. I’d challenge how many shows or flix they are developing with one single strong father figure family. If they do it is a multiracial family. There’s nothing wrong with that but Netflix appears totally unbalanced

e) climate change. Netflix is TOTALLY on board and pushing it hard. Like I said this show my wife watches had some kind of plug like every second episode lol Browse their documentary section and tell me there isn’t a huge bias of content.

They are producing quality shows no doubt, but to me it also fuckin REEKs of social conditioning and globalist propaganda.

That’s just what I’m seeing/smelling from the outside admitted I don’t watch tons of Netflix though maybe I’m missing stuff

I gotta agree

The uptick in Military Propaganda is what I noticed mostly

and the retelling of some questionable official narratives, basically the "cementing/retelling" of historical events to implant the official story in another generation of youngsters...Not a fan of that BS

Netflix is 10000000% on board with the 9/11 lie, they attacked us for our freedoms/anti-russia/pro Israel etc etc etc

They will never show content that questions that shit. And if they do its a strawman to knock down.

Netflix = Social Engineering Propaganda Operation

I haven't even taken a good look at what sort of overall content they are pushing on kids/children. I bet it would be an interesting study.

Do they carry all those creepy teen shows by that pedo Schneider? Those are fucking BIZARRE and disturbing.

Like I said they are producing quality content, high production values, good writers and filmmakers etc. On a show-by-show basis I'm sure there is lots of great stuff to watch.

I'm talking overall flavor of the menu, what sort of biases are present when you start to view their content as a whole

I haven't seen any of that, not sure what to say.

no one is forcing anyone to watch anything they don't care to.

considering I control what I watch on Netflix, I'm not even sure it bothers me to be honest.

I don't have a problem with A, B, C, E or maybe even D (see above).

Better call saul is an AMC show...that is popular and a prequel to the cash cow that is Breaking Bad, it draws people to sign up. I bought a month of Netflix just to view season 4.

Netflix does have some good stuff and even produces some good stuff...but they also produce/finance a lot of propaganda bullshit IMO.

Propaganda is strong, it is everywhere...The discerning eye will see it a mile away(those currently in this thread).

That is all I know.

Military Propaganda? Netflix might have produced the most anti-war propaganda film in recent years with War Machine (based on Hasting's The Operators)

liberal bias? House of Cards kicked off their originals & featured a Dem president who was a complete POS. at the time, people were claiming it was a look inside the Clintons.

Official Stories? tackled the unexplained death of Frank Olson & the CIA's LSD experiments with great care/suspicion & gave us the only glimpse of Kaczynski's time at Harvard (& CIA-connected doctors) to date.

Violence? that's the only way I want my Daredevil, Punisher, etc. it's not the Disney Channel & I wouldn't let young kids watch them.

You are.

Not saying those things aren't on there in abundance but there's a ton of things that are very well done that would probably pique your interests.

Now if you get onto an account that hasn't been rating any of the titles then who knows what kind of shit show that may be. At this point, mine never suggests Anime or basically anything animated. Unless it becomes super popular I rarely see any of the teen dramas that are pretty big on there.

I generally see a bunch of crap when it first gets added and they're featuring it but it seems to disappear really quickly if it's the genres that I never watch and/or have rated terribly in the past.

Watching Episode One now

this homemade gun collection?

LOL wtf is that description

I see one homemade gun, and two factory made firearms.
Why not just call it a gun collection including a homemade gun?
