If you watched most of their games I don’t agree. We’re they top 25? Yes. We’re they what they had been? Hell nah. Not even close. He prioritized guys differently imo and it showed. Tua needed to get the ball out of his hands quickly or make some moves to get his “shot” off. Most Bama fans don’t disagree..
No, I agree. But they were still damn good and he had time to read a defense most of the time.
I'm not saying Greg McElroy would've been drafted with that line, but they didn't suck.
More will follow if things go like I think they will. People can only handle so much BS and this place seems to have a whole lot less of that. One can hope...

I've known him a long time man...Jeez I was there over 15 years ago or more...That long I can't remember...I still get flashbacks
I'm not sure I'd take him very high without the injury.
His options:
1 - he kills it. Great career.
2 - he's just ok. Has an up and down career but is a starter for a while and then a backup. Nothing to be ashamed of
3 - he's not very good and people, especially Alabama fans, say it's because of the injury

All I can say is that’s most QB prospects out of college. The guys that watch a lot of college ball are less surprised than most imo and that’s us. I guess time will tell but to me a healthy Tua is dangerous and I believe that translates to the NFL as long as the OC understands what he has.
Most quarterback prospects out of college aren't being talked about as the number one pick in the draft
that is what makes the QBs on stacked teams so risky

He has quick release and a solid arm...be interesting to see if his mobility is as good as it was

And he lost that due to the injuries and Joe’s phenomenal play. It’s fair play to me. Like I said time will tell. There’s been plenty of guys that we both would’ve said were locks to make it (Meant for success) and didn’t live up to the hype. I like Tua. I think he’s a good dude so yes, a part of me hopes he’s successful. It could be my downfall in this discussion no doubt.

I mainly remember him being another of Mike Shanahan the coach/GM's late round pick/undrafted 1000 yard rushers. Shannie had a run of those guys putting up 1000+yds.

I think the odds of him being a washout are much better than him being a star at the next level. I don't know that he can quickly read a defense and throw a guy open like you have to do in the NFL.
Bama's dominance at other positions can make average QBs look like studs.
He's a good dude and I wish him well, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's holding a clipboard for most of his career.
