Just ordered a macedemia coated salmon. Diddnt know what else to get. Think it's first time I've ordered salmon

Almost got ribeye tacos but they were on corn torillas, and I can't abide by corn tortillas

Salmon is finicky.
In that it depends on the salmon, and how it's cooked.
If they seared it in oil, it depends what oil, what temperature, and truly, the salmon.
Most commercial salmon is bland nowadays, as they're farmed, crossbred, pumped full of ungodly shit....
But Alaskan wild King is IT, they use what was likely on your plate for bait.
It's why bears are cancer free beasts.
The steak of the river, but so hard to get now, much harder than every previous 10 years.
Flavor in itself.

I'll try and get a good one and crust it in macadamia, may post a video.

the wild Salmon here in BC are legendary, no different than Washington state or Alaska really. but sadly.... due to the insane heat this year 75% of the spawning salmon died. and its going to take years, if not close to decade, for it to recover.

Also how come some bits are pink and some darker? I diddnt eat the dark bits (no hacist) because I wasn't sure

5 hour slow roast chicken, with turnip mash, kale, roasted sweet potato and garlic. That chicken leg came off by hand like a pro carved it. Scratch gravy of course.

Umm, I'm pretty sure 100% of spawning pacific salmon die.
