Well damn. Finally heading home after four days away and some poor bugger has decided to jump in front of a train.

Trapped in a pub in Hitchin.

It's very inconvenient but all I can think about is their poor family.

Seriously. If you're gonna do it, do it yourself on your own. Fucking train drivers having to go through that, it's an actual trauma...years of therapy.
I got stuck on the way to a gig on a Friday night and had to get a cab from Woking into London and I can honestly say I didn't think twice about the 'victim''s family. It was an inconvenience during Friday rush hour.

Grr. Does me in. I know train drivers are nicely paid but they shouldn't have to go through that.

Guy I worked with used to work at Depot. They had a train come in that someone had been splattered by and were expected to sort it out. I diddnt probe much but I could tell it had bothered him, I wouldn't clean that shit up. God knows what it's like for the driver


Another friend of mine was a crew chief who flew with his helicopter. When they were in the air he was a Gunner. I remember one day when he told me about most of the time they were touching down, he jump out, grab some corpses, Chuck em in and off they went. Fuck that. Shits gonna mess you up.

Guy I know from SDog is a train driver, it hasn't happened to him but a couple of his colleagues have been signed off with severe anxiety and depression.

Yeah, having to clean that up...where do you start? If I was ever that way inclined it would probably be some lethal drug overdose that didn't end up with my brains all over a vehicle that someone had to deal with.
