Also, I'm starting to really freak out. With all the fun I've been making of the disease, it's almost certainly going to kill me out of spite. I've had a good run - I once got a promotion at Sizzler and one time I even made out with a girl at a nightclub, only later realizing when a group of girls were laughing that she had lost a bet with her friends. She said I was a 'nice guy' though. A life well lived.

A guy at work got sent home yesterday, he was hanging out with his buddy at the weekend and his buddy has tested positive, some French dude.

I hope this guy at work gets the all clear, or they will likely shut down our factory is my guess

My friend's daughter just tested positive as well.
When it's all said in done, this will be a turning point in the chapter of life we all know.
Some had wars; WW1,2, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and the like.
The entire World's civilian population has been exempt until now.
And as has been said, much like wars, it's not just the virus, it's "coming home".

I was just about to post to see if anyone knew anyone affected. How old is she? In hospital?

My steo-dad lives pretty much in the middle of nowhere and said that some of the shelves in his local Tesco grocery store are empty like here.

the other day a pack of spam was going for $19.99 at costco.. today it was on sale for $12.99 and was sold out.. there's still a shit load of adult diapers in stock.. taking a chance that will be the next thing to run out.. get em quick fuckers cuz once the TP runs out.. ; )

I actually quite like spam on toast if I grill it and use some Brit concoction pickle as a condiment.

I have a can of it on my shelf, I could be rich!

She's 21, works in the healthcare industry, and school from home online.
Right now she's at home quarantined because hospitals are 2x capacity.

I think she'll be alright in the end, all we can do is hope & pray, right?
But I'm concerned about my buddy as he had a stroke awhile back; body doesn't work like it used to after that.

I sent him this message as a pick-me-up
