My wife has a friend who works for westjet, there's been a mass layoff of employees today. They've been in meetings all morning.
Wife has another friend who's in mexico who's supposed to return next week. Friend A told friend B to get on the next flight. Sounds like west jet is going to shut down non domestic flights.

Town I live in is fairly small though, it seems to be a thing thats effecting built up areas worse.

Millions of people contracted h1n1 and it was in circulation for a year or more for that death toll.
I don't get the panic either really but this virus has a much higher mortality rate , in a years time you will a see similar death toll, if the spread isn't controlled it will be a lot higher than h1n1.
What I thought, so without symptoms you can still put people at risk, but Trudeau gonna Trudeau I guess.
