It's already here.
I'm aware of specific countries, but if someone from dominican republic, argentina, the land of Oz wants to travel here, if they have proper visas, they can travel. Am I wrong or did something change today that I am not aware of?

We absolutely love this shit jason73 @jason73 as you know. If you want to get elected in Canada you better be fluent in nu speak gobbledygook that guys my age can't decipher or you'll stand no chance. Canadians would elect a mannequin if it had good hair and talked a bunch of nu speak gobbledygook..

Wait a minute...
I've been telling jason73 @jason73 to run for office for years, but he won't listen. He'd make rob ford look like a saint.

They really did an amazing job. Very smart testing. But they have a huge china link and lessons learned from SARS. So they have the infrastructure.

But S korea is our model. Kind of ramped up and then showed how to turn the ship with services coming on line. They are also bigger so showed they can do large scale testing a huge ramp up of services on that scale.
They also have a really popular zombie pathogen historical tv series right now. It featured lockdowns of areas of the country to control the spread. A funny coincidence, but I wonder if this sort of information absorption by osmosis helped guide individual behaviour. Like they were more readily primed to accept the steps taken by their government as they had seen a historical, if fantasimal, precedent. Probably a load of bollocks but interesting to me nonetheless.

I saw that and I agree. That's terrible.
Why do we have this process? Why did we take 3-4weeks to authorize the expedited process after that bungling?
The tests from many companies that had already been field tested and peer reviewed were there. We could have brought them online in a couple of days.
I hope this leads to an overhaul, but not holding my breath, they'll be congratulating each other when all this shit os over.

Who is making the decisions and what stock do they own?

It's not that he's got good hair or whatever, it's that through years of cultural hegemony these neoliberals own the media. So whenever he does something half decent it's massively amplified and when he messes up they sweep it under the rug. It leaves everyone with the impression of a very inadequate leader, because that's what they want an empty suit, but everyone voted for him so it must be his hair or whatever. There were probably 5 or 6 candidates and they chose Trudeau and there will be many more after him. It's half of the reason that schools like Eton exist in the uk to churn out these people.

I honestly doubt that I leave my property for 2 entire months. My wife and I both work from home, and we just loaded up on groceries, so we’re going to hunker down here until the US gets somewhat of a grip on this thing. Royally pisses me off we were forced to work that damn trade show last week. I did not want to go.
