I honestly doubt that I leave my property for 2 entire months. My wife and I both work from home, and we just loaded up on groceries, so we’re going to hunker down here until the US gets somewhat of a grip on this thing. Royally pisses me off we were forced to work that damn trade show last week. I did not want to go.
So you're saying for the next 2 months we own your ass on here?

Those that have the ability to do what you are doing should do it. Lots don't but that's okay. Life doesn't stop and even 25% following the rules tightly and another 25% following them mostly leads to BIG effects in slow down. Thousands saved by just hanging out. That's the goal here. Just slow down. The virus didn't get more dangerous and we can't stop it now or in a month. Just slow it down to respond.

Canada still hasn't stopped flights arriving from China.
At this point China probably has more to worry about us than we do of them.

I hope I don't die in the next few hours and have someone decide to check my search history. "Man, apparently there's a lot we didn't know about papi chingon. It's almost like we didn't know him at all."
My neigborhood is arranging shoppers to get the old people to stay home so we can go out for them and deliver anything they need to stay in.
I wonder if one of these guys could be persuaded to wipe this browser history in exchange.

My dead man's switch is on back order in these trying times.

speaking of, and this is really the worst thread for this. Did you know you can set a dead man's switch on your google account?

This is a good idea to make sure someone can get your google photos, contacts, mail, etc. My drive as important documents, etc

one of my biggest concerns with complaining that the government is trying to control us and things like that in the middle of all of this is the harm. Real harm. The government should be banning large centralized events. That's not an attack on your personal freedom. That is how you stop 10 times as many people from dying. The government should be looking at how people get incentivized to not go out and be in the middle of large centralized events. I don't know what that looks like but sometimes that might look like financial things that are really unpopular with some people. But if you rail that the government's doing everything just to get us, that undermines the social structure of us realizing how simple it is to bring those numbers down so dramatically. And once you realize that you can bring the numbers down really dramatically with just hand washing and hanging out at home watching Netflix, the thing is a hell of a lot less scary.
