The potential fibrosis from people that end up with a severe pneumonia and this disease is probably the biggest concerning issue in my opinion. Some doctors raise this point a couple months ago in the first cases coming out of China that showed fibrosis with unclear timeline to recovery.

Sanjay Gupta is a hell of a self promoter. I haven't watched the video but the topic is accurate to Chinese case reports. But those are case reports and I don't see any data on if that's something common or if that's just people who have a lot of smoking. Remember China smokes like a damn chimney. So it's not clear how much of this is virus and then otherwise healthy person. So it's a concern and needs to be taken seriously but we don't know timeline on recovery or percentages or predisposition

I think he may be correct...but I don't trust that doctor one bit. Big name doctors like that are essentially paid actors.


The real hero doctors are not the ones you see on CNN and are known names, the real hero doctors are like splinty and others who do not seek praise or participate in MSM.

That was in January before the CDC and WHO stopped referring to it as the Wuhan Virus or the Chinese Virus etc. Once those guys gave it an official label everyone began using the updated names and moved on. Context matters.

And when it was labeled COVID19 folks slowly moved away from calling it the Wuhan Virus or whatever. And to think folks are pissed at CNN for gotcha questions etc, I’m finding the same shit on both sides of the spectrum and it’s fucking stupid. I don’t care if this senator was a republican or that senator was a democrat. The virus and the disease it causes certainly doesn’t give a shit that some folks like Trump and some don’t. That's actually a misnomer. Though an understandable one since they're being used interchangeably in the news.

Coronavirus (shortened version of SARS-Cov2 aka severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 and originally called Hcov-19 aka Human Corona virus 2019) is the virus. Covid-19 is the disease....ie Coronavirus Disease 2019.
