Within an hour of the announcement that pubs and clubs are to close, my local shop has been stripped of all beer. Still some spirits and wine left though.
The only beer left when I got their was 5 slabs of Budweiser and some Carling, I picked up 2 cases Bud which is piss but less so that Carling by the time I had paid the rest of the beer had been picked clean.

If you can watch that and NOT see how poorly he handled it, I really don't know what I can say to explain it. Not trying to be a smart ass, but really, it's terribly obvious how much better he could have handled it. Instead he attacks a reporter for asking a VERY valid question about a VERY valid concern. People are freaking out and they look to the person who sits in that seat for guidance and reassurance yet he's unable to get over himself to actually provide that for anyone. I try to give him a chance to do the right thing but he consistently disappoints anyone who has enough sense to see through his BS.
Reassuring people that they don't need to be frightened, handed an easy opportunity to do that, failed miserably.

I haven't found one thing he says reassuring in the least. MSM does overhype things, we all know that, but can we honestly say in this situation, the hype wasn't warranted? I don't blame the media on this one. I blame the politicians who didn't take enough action two months when they learned about this and saw China starting to shut down their travel, shut down their business etc to start getting a handle on it. we waited until there were 1000's of cases while China started welding doors shut in the hundreds of cases. We can't say China is squeaky clean with everything they did but you can't say they didn't take this seriously way sooner than everyone else did.
