According to the criminal complaint first reported by KOAT in Albuquerque, officers responded to gunshots and they found Jones in the driver’s seat of his vehicle. He claimed he didn’t know anything about the gunshots fired.
After Jones was arrested, a black handgun was found underneath the driver’s seat along with a bottle of Recuerdo behind the passenger’s seat.
“As part of the investigation into this incident, our Gun Violence Reduction Unit will test the firearm and bullet casing to determine whether the gun has been used in any crimes,” Gilbert Gallegos, communications director for the Albuquerque Police said in a statement sent to MMA Fighting. “Reducing gun violence in Albuquerque is our top priority.”
He had a spent casing in the gun or car.
Likely lied to the cops and that isn't gonna go well.

As dangerous as he is in the cage, he is more dangerous behind the wheel. I'm not saying ban him from the sport forever, but he should never have a drivers license again.

I mean...... I'm not saying that I'm surprised here, buuuuut.... People all across the country are losing their mind right now with this whole Coronavirus thing, and having to be in isolation. As a recovering addict, I can tell you that a routine is key, and that I found solace in music and BJJ, just being objective here, maybe he just had a bad case of cabin fever, can't train, started drinking, and that led him to do a few car pops while driving around.... I don't know, I'm not a fucking soothsayer here.
In terms of Jon Jones things, this may be his most "meh" offense yet....... However, this man has a substance/alcohol dependency issue, and no one in the 'querque needs to sell him ANYTHING (Protect ya boy).

been telling you all that he's one of the biggest pieces of shit in this industry and that says something(leigh, have fun censoring). It's a matter of time before he gets tossed in prison for all the shit he's been doing. A lot of the really bad shit hasn't hit the net yet. I look forward to seeing it all come out.
At least from an MMA perspective, I think the division can move on without him. The interim champ won’t have the same “but he never beat Jones” hanging over his head. Jones is clearly in decline. He’s coming off a razor close decision to Reyes and a split decision to Santos.
No disrespect to either Reyes or Santos, but neither of those guys had any business being in the ring with the Jon Jones of even 2 years ago. I think the writing was on the wall for Jones to lose to his next credible challenge.
