How has the crime been in everyone's area. Trailers are getting broken into fairly regularly around here.
My shits locked up tight, but you can only do so much. Locks only keep honest people out.

I had equipment stolen from job site three weeks back, was on the other side of a building and came back and it was gone(pro pruning saw)

fairly normal for me to get jacked 3 times a year so I guess I was due...homeless tweakers most likely

I have a puck lock on the doors a massive steel bar across the front of the doors with a padlock. I park the boom tight to the doors with forks/carriage over the front.
Also have a hitch lock. It would take a fair bit of effort and noise but cutting through the sides is certainly possible.

If someone breaks into my cargo trailer, they have a big surprise coming...


All the expensive tools are gone because some asshole broke into it already before the pandemic

You were a good bit south of me. I remember Fishkill because of the prison there. I lived a few miles from Mt. McGreggor Correctional Facility. It was a spooky looking place that used to be a tuberculosis sanatorium

I get jacked because I am careless or complacent and caught up working.

I usually only get jacked for one tool at a timealso ...this time a 470 dollar small pruning chainsaw, tweaker probably only got 100 out of it.

I don't even get pissed for long, lotta homeless and a lotta tweakers here.

Lots of days I just work out of my truck so it isn't very high security.

Lol, my grandmother was a correctional guard at one of those max prisons.

I had similar locks on the doors, they were no match for some methhead with a splitting maul or pickaxe.

One of the local siders had his trailer broken into. They chained up to the door and yanked it right off with their truck. Didnt have anything in there, some used extension chords and some fasteners. He used the trailer to haul his pump Jack's site to site.
The thieves stole his genie lift battery along with the cables
