If you never test them and they just die of mysterious reasons then no one will ever know if it was Covid or just normal death... Plausible deniability and such.
By looking at historical trends you can get a rough estimate for deaths attributable to covid-19 without bring able to explicitly say which specific deaths were due to covid-19.

If the ventilator does not fit, you must acquit!

Sounds like I might be getting my hands on some of those five minute point of care antibody tests.

I'll have to do some reading to know how it works and sensitivity and specificity. But it is antibody based and positives are back in 5 minutes or less.

This is really useful for point of care testing in smaller Outpost.

Large batches can be run on big machines and a much faster time. It will take longer to get back a single test as the machine might take an hour to run. But those bigger machines might be able to run a couple hundred tests at the same time.

This test is for different flow and facility.
Test me doc..... Test me.

I wonder, would that test be positive if it detects antibodies after one has already recovered? If so I wonder if that’s how the SK numbers showed so many positive cases with no symptoms whatsoever.

Different antibodies for acute infected or recovered.
I don't have the test in my hands but I'm told it does both which is also very useful
