This brand had a very unique vinegar. Each brand does. But this is the pinnacle of the pickling world. It's very strong. If you look back at the picture I posted you will notice it's not full of juice. I tasted a bit first.
These onions are close to just about as hardcore as you will find in the onion world. Close. There are some mad fuckers who throw hot chillis and stuff in there too but I've not seen them for a while

Big Tobacco cut a deal with the States where they could continue to poison people as long as they cut the States in on the profits.
So the States went out and borrowed against all that 'income'.
But now vaping is killing Big Tobacco, and the States are trying to figure out how to make up the lost income. Of course the solution is to ban the the competition so more people get sick and die.

The UK were the first to come out and say definitively that vaping was 99% less dangerous than "analog" cigarettes. But big tobacco is YUGE over here. What's funny, the southern states is where vaping really took off (you know, the poor plebs who were dying of lung cancer decided there was a much less dangerous way to get their nicotine fix) and being in Florida we have a pretty prominent vape "culture" if you will. But now BT is going state to state and lobbying for stricter measures to make vaping not enjoyable. Who wants cigarette flavored ejuice?!

Nah, I wouldn't go that far. This is most likely from Big Tobacco wanting more profits and see that so many people in certain areas moving away from analog cigarettes in favor of vaping, it's a no brainer they would use their lobbying power to make vaping as unenjoyable as possible. Hopefully we find loopholes. I think one would be to buy 0% nicotine fruity juice and simply add your own nicotine to it. I used to do that 10 years ago and it worked rather well.
FWIW - the push started under President Obama. But it's really gained traction in the last year or so, as vaping has exploded in popularity.
They're even trying to conflate the fact that smoking is a risk factor for COVID19 with vaping - even though there's no evidence that vaping is related. Vaping has a different mechanism that causes irritation, and it doesn't cause the 'deep lung' irritation that smoking does.
People who advocate for single-payer health care need to understand that 'your health' is going to be at the bottom of the priority list.
