No not really, I don't think that everyone should own a weapon, I'm anti NRA, I'm anti gun lobbyists, I don't think that people should have an arsenal of weapons in their home. There is plenty that as a responsible gun owner that I am against.
i admit some people get carried away with their gun collection

i don't care too much for lobbyists either

i just don't want anybody messing with my brith right and my means to protect my family

times like now proves we need the 2nd A more than ever, when police stations are closing down

stop putting words in my mouth

i've been saying I support the 2nd A, which states

a well regulated militia (that's ALL OF US!)

being necessary to the security of a free state (that's the US right now)

the right of the people to keep and bear Arms (whoever don't want to join in, that's fine)

shall not be infringed! (should not be fucked with in anyway)

which is holding this country together.

why do you think anyone from other country who's government has been oppressing them say that best thing about America is the 2nd Amendment? Spoiled Americans don't even know what that's like because we don't have to deal with stuff like that in this country, why? because we have the 2nd A
I don't know, I've lived in other countries.... Specifically Germany and Ukraine.... Two different political ideologies..... Both are good without a 2A, both have better roads, medical care for their people.... You're putting a lot of stock in this whole 2A thing

The only right you have in being born, is the ability to die...... There is no such thing as a birth "right", we aren't entitled to shit.

Obviously I am all about personal protection and self defense, I'm about CQC and weapon retention, but a gun.... Rather the ability to own a gun.... It isn't in my DNA as a right

i've been saying that as long as the 2nd Amendment exists, it'll be hard for Communism to slide in
Socialism is already at your front door.

Redistribution of wealth, govt seizing control of private means of production, intervening in military law and propping up failing industries is the current state of America, has your revolt started yet?

maybe I am but mainly because of my life experience. I came from South Korea, if you look at their last century's history, they've been invaded by imperial Japanese, used as pawns during the Cold War (US vs USSR), countless military coup d'etat, police state, and now is the only place in the world where it's divided between North and South where it's mandatory for all citizens to serve in the military once they turn 18 all because they didn't have 2nd A.

not sure exactly when you lived there but maybe the experience you had living in those countries wasn't a time when they're lack of 2nd amendment was tested.

Ukrainians demand their own "Second Amendment" after government massacre in Kiev – Bearing Arms – Right to Bear Arms

and same thing could be said about Germany, the Jews that lived in Germany during 1930s most likely have different thoughts about 2nd Amendment than you.

better roads is great and free medical care is great but those don't mean anything once there is a tyrannical government trying to take your rights away and oppress you

like I said, it's really hard to feel the need for 2nd A for average Americans. when was the last time we had a Government trying to oppress us? back in 1775?

we don't know the importance of something until it's gone, but in America, we still have it. so people take it for granted

that's fine. that's your opinion and you're a trained killer unlike most people that live in the US so you might have different thoughts about it.

but there is a birth right in America. It's the constitution. Especially the 1st and the 2nd. And AMerica is the ONLY country in the world that enforces it. If you're born in America, you have right to freedom of speech and right to bear arms

People from other countries generally think American's gun obsession is a joke.

No other county has anything like the second amendment. That's a uniquely American thing. And those that don't, haven't magically slid into communism.

disagree.

have you talked to the South Americans fleeing from oppression, that are now living in the states? People who think the American 2nd amendment is a joke really don't understand the full extent behind it, most likely a sheep type that wants their Government to do everything for them.

show me evidence where people from other countries think it's a joke

Cutlery company creates knives with square tips ‘in response to rising knife crime’

A cutlery company has created a range of knives with blunt tips in response to knife crime statistics in the UK.

In October 2019, it was reported that knife crime had reached a record high in England and Wales, with more than 44,000 offences involving a knife or a sharp instrument recorded by police in the 12 months leading up to June.

This marked a seven per cent increase on the previous year, with the Office for National Statistics (ONS) stating that the number of crimes involving knives was at its highest point since the 2010 to 2011 period.

In a bid to tackle knife crime, British cutlery and kitchenware firm Viners, which was founded in Sheffield in 1901, has designed a new range of knives with square ends.

@Rhino,

Respectfully disagree with your take on a potential hostile government takeover. There's no way you could convince our own military to attack the civilian population.

you're trippin'

Socialism always co-exist with Capitalism in the US but Capitalism is still above Socialism in the States. Individuals don't depend on Government for food, healthcare, or employment except right now, but is different because it's more like improvise, adapt, and overcoming stage for this stupid pandemic started by those idiot Communist Government of China.

when US becomes dangerously Socialist, i'll start my revolt. That's why we need to keep the likes of Bernie out of the office so we don't go full retard

The farmers were getting big, big bailouts well before covid arrived. Farm bail outs were the result of the impact of Trumps trade war and tariffs with China.

And then there was also those massive bank and industry bail outs resulting from the 2008 crash.

Another GOP president, another round of commie bail outs required.

They said that same thing in numerous countries with military dictatorship.... I would like to think that there is a level of common sense and morals, but look at how the sheeple blindly follow the wolves today here in America

I was in Maidan in Kiev during those riots, my son's mother.... Her father was high level military and KGB in former USSR and the Ukrainian army. The people there have plenty of access to guns (I was out with her family firing off AK's like I was in a NWA music video. Germany 2007-2010, the people there are good with no guns, they think that Americans are idiots with all our gun culture.... They think that those gun loving people here are the same as the idiots who became Nazi foot soldiers there in the 40's

What made America good has never been about 2A, what made us good was the ability to conversate and express ourselves and ideas to hopefully grow together (hence why 1A is first).... 2A is there for when snowflake pussies who don't know how to fight, get offended by what you say and try to come shoot you... You can shoot back LOL

If you're born in America, your right is to pay taxes and die.... The ability to live free only applies if the people you agree with are in power. The ability to live free only applies if you're Anglo Saxon, and not American. You say 2A is an American birth right, let's see if 3 black or Hispanic or Arab guys with guns can walk down a city street without the national guard called on them. Where was the birth right in the 60's through 80's when the blacks were persecuted and their guns taken away? I remember Ice-T in his song Body Count saying that "Now the government wants to take away my AK, but I got 10 at home with a stash of Hand Grenades"...... It's not an American birth right, it's white American privilege.... Let's not confuse the two
