c'mon man~ you know why 2A was put in place. It was put in place to fight off the tyrannical government.

California put Mulford Act in the 60s so that Black Panther Party couldn't open carry their guns. NRA was for gun control back then, racist mofos. But that's prime example of taking power away from people by implementing gun-control.

no one's going to call the national guard if the city's law has a open carry

The biggest problem you have. Forget about socialism or capitalism is tying your healthcare to your employment.

I think the democrats see that more the republican party does.

It's not fit for a modern society.

You are the only country in the developed world that does this.

And not having a national health care system, despite being a world leader in health care fall to bits in a situation like this.

It doesn't even work for half the population when everything is going well.

It's not good.

I remember when my mom used Obamacare. It wasn't good. She had to wait so much, wait to get her appointments, wait for doctors, and not all services were covered which is what she needed due to her car accident at the time.

the ACA was maybe equivalent to buying a cheapest health insurance on the market, which cost like $30. you could work at mcdonalds full time and afford that health care but Americans just choose not to get health insurance, they feel like it's waste of money when they don't have to use the healthcare system for all year long.

also insurance companies raised the premiums a shit ton for them to make up for the all of sudden influx of sick people trying to get treatment

whenever you're trying to make things free, the quality drops drastically because there is no sense of competition and there is no incentive for being the best.

the US is no.1 in the world in terms of medical research and innovation, that is due to not having a free health care

so US not having free care ain't that bad, there's plenty affordable health care
