not sure if anyone will frequent this thread, but I've become obsessed with Halsey over the last year. so I'm gonna occasionally post shit here in excitement for what I hope to be my favorite vacation ever, fingers crossed

let's start with this. Halsey is from New Jersey, I think. so she's awesome.

people often ask her when her primary songwriter, Ashley, is going to show face ... turns out, halsey's just a stage name. her given name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane

her new album is special to her. apparently, she's laid out clues to the true meaning of some songs, such as my favorite (which unfortunately is not part of her tours set list)

I believe this song, "more" is about her struggle to have a child. possibly had a miscarriage or two. I might be making this up tho. regardless, this one immediately jumped out to me as my favorite on the album

since that one was sad. I'll end today's posts with a live performance of what I'd imagine is her most popular song. without me, performed at the Victoria secret runway show

(people often get on Halsey case for lip syncing. but in truth, she's just ridiculously talented)

Halsey decided to book her new jersey concert while I'm down in Orlando for Con of Thrones... so I decided to push my flight back 2 days
- see her in New York city Thursday night
- fly down to orland by 730am Friday and do the con for a few days
- stay a few days after wakeboarding the cable parks in Orlando
- and end vacation by hopping over to Tampa to see her a second time

and I got two tickets to the Tampa concert, in case I lose half my phone. or meet some Florida broad lol

the day I fly back to jersey, I gotta run down to Camden new jersey for the "theory of a dead man," bush, and breaking Benjamin concert

I've worked her shows a few times, she's an absolute sweetheart. The Pyro/FX company that was working for their production team before us had scared her with pyro on stage. I met her team, did a safety walk with her and them, and at least got her comfortable enough to bring flame FXs back to her show. She's sweet and funny, and super tiny.... I got no problem with her.

1) Halsey album manic is the first album to hit platinum in 2020. whoa

2) she said she's not gonna tour for awhile after this manic tour
- good news: maybe that's why she's one of the only concerts I've got tickets for that hasn't postponed or canceled yet. she really wants to do this one and call it a day
- bad news: what if my July concerts get canceled and she never tours again

fuck corona!!!!
