dispatches from elsewhere - I didnt mind that one of the lead actors is a transsexual, but the show and no one in the show addresses it except for one gay pride parade scene and now the guy who is supposed to be straight is asking him out on a date. That is a complete sjw bullshit. Are we supposed to pretend that the transgender is a real woman? And the characters in the show act and consider him to be a real woman so why not instead cast an actress in that role? This was done purely to score social justice virtue signal points
meh the story sounded interesting so I gave it a shot and I am going to finish the season since there are only two episodes left

I am glad you liked it. I stopped somewhere in the middle of the second season because it was all about the same case so I felt as if it dragged. Now castle, those mother fuckers solve everything within 44 minutes and move onto the next case. But thats not a show for you, thats for chicks. Yea I'm not big on those one episode shows. I like it to play out over time. The shield in season 7 was boiling down to stuff from season one. I liked that

I keep hearing about the shield being compared to the wire and sopranos as the three of the best tv shows. So I havent given it a try because I didnt enjoy those two shows. Everyone also loves band of brothers but even that was too monotone for me
The shield was good. It's pretty gritty but they don't say fuck and it wound me up. They say the N word and have disturbing themes but the language let's it down
