As mentioned before, a good friend of mine lives in NZ and is happy the way things are turning out.

The results to date in NZ are really positive.
There is essentially no community transmission, which is a very good outcome.
I hope it stays this way, and we find a way to manage it successfully.
How NZ rebuilds itself coming out of this will be the key part, even more so than managing the virus itself.
Does it brand itself as a Covid free utopia, and attract high net worth individuals to assist with rebuilding the economy?
From the NZ lockdown, the resulting unemployment, domestic violence, substance abuse and mental health issues will all cost human lives in the longer term.
Whether there will be more lives lost because of these issues, than short term lives lost to the virus, is hard to quantify.
Jacinda Ardern has faced some huge challenges in her short leadership term, and has (IMO) done pretty well.
Christchurch massacre, White Island volcanic eruption, and now a pandemic that has almost been stopped in its tracks inside our borders.
I'm happy we as a country are safe and healthy.
I'm frustrated with being "stuck inside", while trying to work and homeschool a 5yr old and raise a 6mth old.
I'm impacted by the closed borders, as we own two Australian based healthcare companies.
My opinion of our PM wavers depending on the time of day.
She can be bloody funny though, and has a solid sense of humour - as well as being an ex semi-famous international DJ.
