Russia has less than half the population spread out over an area 2ish times the size of America.....
India is an interesting case, they quarantined hard when they had under 1000 cases, BUT, and this is a big but, only about 22% of all deaths are medically certified, so their reporting may not be the best.
Japan does not have any type of lockdown, but they are also a very ethnocentric society. They've also tested 10000 ish people total, so Japan is going to be interesting as this goes on. They've also had over 4k positive tests from the little testing they have done.
Ahhh okay. Guess that acceptable then.
America will bear the worst brunt of this virus because of attitudes akin to that. Is my guess. There's always an excuse for America being the shittest at something. Always.

We definitely haven't been perfect in handling this, my wife and I still would like to get tested but we aren't going into Dallas for it and as far as we know theres no place to get tested in our county, which has been hit but not hard. Some areas of the states are not hit hard, others with major international air ports are, this isn't surprising. It will be interesting to see how the "re-opening" occurs and what bumps we run into.

That's what I was going back to. In that photo nowhere was hit hard. A week before that it was just chiner. If stuff is open and people don't know they have it I'm sure it will spread more.
@Siton YerDong2 my father has been tracking the numbers in our county, you may find this interesting.
Of course it will spread more, but if you open in a somewhat controlled way, like I think Texas is doing, you can hopefully prevent a massive spike that overloads our healthcare system.

We never had exponential growth in our county it was linear the whole time, and people have been out and about a decent amount. How we re-open will be and should be different than how Dallas opens, and Dallas is only about 30-60 min south of my county.
The problem is, imo, when all this shit the whole of the world was watching like wtf is going on.
Meanwhile people who had it were spreading it out to other countries, without even knowing.
Then weeks later they get sick
