Just went to re-up, and when I was walking down I could hear a horse and cart clippety clopping. When I got to the street it was actually people stood in Thier windows applauding, clapping Thier hands.

Fuck knows why they were so happy for me to go to the shop to buy beer, but it felt good. It's about time these belgies showed me some appreciation.

Texas instituted a medical board rule that I must wear a mask while we're seeing patients and the patient must wear a mask.

There is no clarification on this.

Seems fine on the surface but...
What if the patient refuses to wear a mask? The rule says that it's my license that will be dinged.

Are they allowed to take the mask off for a proper ear nose and throat exam?

This morning I saw several babies. Mom was wearing a mask but the baby was not wearing a mask. The baby is my patient. What do I do?

Interestingly the ruling does not clarify a procedure mask. It just says a mask. It seems a Halloween mask meets the definition.

You should wear a pennywise mask when seeing babies.

So little kids don't have something called object permanence. That is when something hides behind something else they cannot imagine that it's hidden. To them it truly disappeared. This is why peekaboo is hilarious to little kids. You're really gone and then you're really there.

I've been wearing a mask everyday for patient care since before it was required.
This scares the crap out of little kids.

They have a very defined process they go through when a stranger walks in. You see the baby make the eye contact start to hunt the face give the reflexive smile And then wait for it to return.

instead they get a half face floating and can't seem to figure out where the other face parts are. You can watch the confusion set in right before the cry begins.

I've taken to using a sharpie and putting a mustache on my mask. The slight mouth like shape makes the kids interact like they normally would.

Patients with Alzheimer's and cognitive issues also hate the masks.

One of Trump’s personal valets tests positive for Covid-19

Would him catching it be the only thing that would make him properly take this thing seriously?

Our buffoon has had to back peddle his opening up plans and left the country in confusion.

Pound for pound we are now the most hit country for deaths in the world now.
When Italy still had the numbers we are pulling daily they were on full lock down.

Full lock down.

We've never really had that.

Its been a total mess here pretty much from the start.

Ok. The way I see it, he's not lying. I believe antibody testing will eventually show that most of us have had this disease. You guys can quote me on that in a year. Healthy, asymptomatic people were not being tested early on. As time goes on they are finding more and mor asymptomatic people have the antibodies. The most severe cases and deaths are those who have a compromised immune system. Diabetes, COPD, obesity, HIV, elderly... As States start to open and testing becomes more readily available (even though numbers of overall cases increase) I suspect the statistics will continue to shift toward strengthening this hypothesis.

Which mustache do you draw?

That's really interesting about children's lack of object permanence. Learn something everyday.

The Lancet which is one of the top medicine journals in the world in its latest editorial is ripping Bozo showcasing Brazil as one of the biggest hotbeds of the corona in the world and blaming Bozo as the possible cause for it. The editorial cites that Brazil has the highest transmission rate in the world and is pending on genocide but “perhaps the biggest threat to Brazil’s covid-19 response is its president”. Fuck Bozo.

The median age of the Fox News viewer is 65-68 (depending on the source). 65+ is its main demographic . The only thing they're working on is spending your hard-earned tax dollars while they sit on their fat, old unemployed asses...while watching Fox News.
Can you show me proof of that?

I can say cnn viewers are all crack addicted trannys but without proof its only partly true

Well done. Crazy to think a single meat processing plant, one town over from me, has two thirds the cases as tour entire country.
