It works well to inflate the mortality number though. I heard CNN say "The mortality rate might come down if we discover more people had the disease"

Despite saying that there will be a "new normal" and humans will be terrified to go out in public ever again, many restaurants had assembled huge circus tents and erected them in their parking lots and promptly opened for business Thursday night at midnight (officially 12:00 AM Friday). By all accounts the turnouts were huge and there was some serious partying going on last night.

While dropping my son off at Daycare this morning we noticed some activity at the high school in the front of our neighborhood. On the way home we noticed a sign saying there was COVID testing. This is pretty big, but this should have been set up over a month ago. We swung by to see if it was just nasal swab testing or if they were offering antibody testing. Right now they are only offering nasal swabs.
Were there a lot of people there to be tested?
We put up a testing tent but no one is showing up. Lol
They were still setting up, but there was no line or anything. If this was a month ago I would have bit the bullet and gotten swabbed while I was sick, but I've been healthy for a few weeks now so I'm trying to find out where we can get tested for antibodies.

thought about the same thing, might give it a go for the wife and myself...if we both test positive for antibodies I'd believe it. But the actual specificity of those test is pretty low...even the ones that claim "99.5%" are testing out in studies at ~ 90%. Some are straight garbage.
EDIT - i think you can only get antibody testing through your healthcare provider, just need to make sure what lab they use and what test that lab supplies.
