Nice. All our hummingbirds have migrated back north to breed, but I saw two this past winter. That's 2 more than I'd ever seen in my life before.

We are lucky up here. We have lots. A feeder attached to my sons window provides for a great diaper change distraction.

One solution to the sideways picture problem is cropping the photo. Even the slightest crop seems to get it to work.
This little fella is named Gavin. He enjoys naps in the sun, swimming, and lost pets.

Cool video that shows him catching a python but also interesting info in the video description. He says he's noticing more mammals in python-infested areas of the glades and that he's noticed the average python he encounters is a lot smaller, which is a good sign that our hunting programs are working. The two programs (one state and one local, operated mostly separately) have removed a cumulative 5,000 - 10,000 pythons.

@Hauler- the snake in this video is a water moccasin/cottonmouth. We have a few different nonvenomous water snakes in Florida, but the cottonmouth (venomous) is the only one that swims with its head on top of the water like that
