No one is upset about that. People are either amused or outraged by two things:

1. Trump talks a lot of shitabout saving jobs and in this instance he's not doing that.

2. Ivanka Trump is unqualified for any cabinet-level position. Seeing her in charge of such a scheme is laughable at best and ominous at worst.
I agree, that's not what Freeloading Rusty @MC Gusto seems to be talking about though. He's upset people are offering an opportunity to learn a new skill, at least that's how it seems.

So why would she not being wearing a mask in a lobby with 50 people if she was that afraid?

That where my comment about common sense came in. Don't freak out now that I have you back here with me in the most protected place here when you didn't even have your nose covered in the lobby sitting beside John Doe.
Because she allegedly tested negative and hospitals are projected as being safe places, with impeccable hygiene practices. I'm not saying shes right from a logical perspective, in just trying to empathize with here situation. She thought everything (covid related anyways) was fine. Then, like a teenager getting in their first car accident, realized how very wrong she was about her aura of invincibility and panicked.

Bear in mind, he's the same guy who was appalled at students receiving financial compensation and believes the government should be forcing them into any available work. He doesn't believe any of what he's saying, it's selective outrage.

Are you upset?
Yes. I'm jealous because I am not quite awesome enough to tell people how awesome I am on an internet forum.

Maybe if I just ate some ramen noodles and learned some other cliches found in every self-help book, then I could be awesome too. But my mother's chicken noodle soup just tastes much better than instant ramen and I am caught in a vicious circle of not being able to afford the self-help books that could teach me how to afford self-help books.

Unfortunately I am just not willing to pull myself up by the bootstraps - possibly because that's physically impossible and was originally intended to convey the literal opposite of its current meaning.

Did you read the interaction or did you just read what you wanted to?

Who said anything about self help books? Why are you so mad that someone was able to do better for themselves?

I'm going to go put my work boots on, they are dirty because I use them, and I'll see if I can pull myself up by them.

I was just reading about this awesome guy who used to eat noodles. But maybe I missed something - I don't have much energy to read because I haven't had any ramen in days.

Ooh, that reminds me. I need to eat the noodles BEFORE I try to read the self-help books, otherwise I might miss stuff. Hmm, but if I buy the noodles first, then how will I afford the books?

This all so hard. I guess I'm just not awesome enough to figure it out. Oh well, back to welfare for me.

The test did not go well, none of my boots have straps. This test was a failure.

Did you waste a bunch of money on self help books? You're the only one talking about self help books.

Do you think they'd get even more mad if they knew I bought a brand new boat with cash yesterday?
Don't know, but the interactions are frustrating to watch. There's often 2 camps. In one of those camps everyone can pull themselves up by their boot straps. In the other no one can.

I know everyone's circumstances are different, but I'm not brilliant like @Splinty and I was able to do it out of sheer will. It was not easy, it sucked at times, but it was worth it. If you want to do better, you can. The reward will probably take years, but it's worth it. I don't know why statements like this would be upsetting to people, but apparently some people think hard work is bad and should be shit on.

Why are you so upset by this? This is not meant as a "oh look at me I'm so great", it's to prove a point that if you have a half way decent head on your shoulders and aren't afraid of hard work you can do better for yourself. Why is that such a problem for some?

Bear in mind there are people who start way behind where you were.

Thats fair, I was broke, broken on the inside, had a nice alcohol problem, and living in the "hood" so I wasn't in the greatest position myself. Granted yes there are people who were a lot more worse off than me, but there was also a lot more people doing better than me. This was also in 2008-2013ish, we all know what happened then in the US in 2008.
