The interesting part to me is "Brady said there was a discussion about whether or not to go but ultimately felt comfortable sending her daughter after multiple correspondences with the church, parent Zoom meetings and reading the handbook outlining what the church planned to do to make sure students and staff were safe."
So you have to wonder what is in that handbook and what was said. There is no quote specifically claiming they didn't stick to the protocol promised, but it would be interesting to know what that was. But I think a lot of journalists are too busy trying to get the story out fast to do the full investigation first. Would be interesting to see if there's any follow-up.
