haha
I think so...800 means you broke the meter on this format, 300 considered hazardous...we were at 20(very clean until 4pm yesterday when wind switched on us)...fires are within 30 miles and if wind doesn't switch it will get real ugly here...twice a century we get this type of dry wind ripping thru from the east, 2020 strikes again...evacuation orders are 20 miles away and closing

I am checking these sites because I work outside yearlong so I am basically not working right now till air becomes ok to work in

Covid didn't shut me down for a day...but these fires stopped me cold in my tracks...crazy times

This strikes me as a bit of an issue:
I don't. It's an unresolved question. This is how science is written with appropriate context and limitations for your paper.

I read this stuff regulary and the great majority come to the conclusion that the excess deaths this year are related to COVID19 infection. With greater than 200,000 excess deaths, you would have to falsely attribute 100, 000 covid-19 deaths for those excess deaths to not be mostly attributed to covid-19.

You see the deaths go with the pandemic case spread as well, so there's geography where deaths increase as southern lockdowns let up:

If you really want to highlight problem, you'd go look at COVID19 deaths in southern lockdowns versus chronic disease. All the best studies have data from the spring because that's the best organized now. New data still coming.
Then you'd see that we (south) probably harmed percentage wise more than NYC/NJ did. We locked down before the COVID19 hit. Chronic disease killed a majority in that period during that time in some areas. That is, lockdown and chronic disease deaths killed majorities of in that period in those geographies.

Anyways...Then we opened up. As we opened, removing restrictions we increased our overall deaths even greater and faster. There's only continued building data that we are killing outside the norm as cases go up.

Final numbers still coming, but the great majority of the 200k+ excess deaths are covid-19.

"Wear masks!!!"

*Bans the one thing that's fun where everyone wears a mask anyway*
Don’t suppose there’s gonna be any public conversation how this disproportionately affects minorities. After all the rich liberals will just take there kids to other rich white areas outside LA county.
