You can only early vote in certain areas. On election day, you vote at an area near your home that's restricted to people from that area.
So instead of an early vote that is open to 200,000 people, you might have the normal area that only has 5,000 total voters. Way less crowded.
The pish for the early vote is odd. Unless the Dems want to start releasing counts prior to election day to dissuade Trump supporters from voting in an election that is already lost...or maybe they hope to shut down locations on election day due to a Covid outbreak?
You only get 1 vote - allegedly - so who cares when and how you place it?
