The context of that statement is an article that talks about how the Hunter Biden laptop is not likely a disinformation campaign from a foreign agent, But that you should remain skeptical and go through each piece of data presented as if it were so that you remain critical. The articles larger theme is that in 2016 all fourth coming information was treated as fact. some leaks would be mixed in with some added information from internet trolls or even foreign agents and then all of it sold as one pie.
In 2020 so far the hunter biden laptop has has already received a more critical review from a number of people and now that leaks are coming out the article suggests continuing to review each piece of data in piece such that fake data cannot be mixed in with real data to create a new story that isn't there.
The point of their statement is that in a world of connected computers social media and foreign agents openly trying to influence our election October surprises now must be viewed through the eye of critical fact validation.
But you guys don't care about that.
