This shit is confusing to an outsider.
All you have to do is win enough of these states to get atleast 270 electoral votes. Only about 10 out of the 50 states could go either way usually in an election because of how people in the states vote along party idealogy.

I think Trump ultimately wins PA but that state is beyond fucked. But let's say the Dem steal it, I still think Trump wins 278 to 260.

I understand this, but why not just count every vote as one instead of letting some "electoral dude vote"
